Many people do not believe that the Pact for the Future approved by the UN on October 2, 2024 was a fulfillment of Daniel 9:27.

I suppose that they won't believe that this peace deal is a fulfillment of 1Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Does that mean they will not escape?

To make those verses fit these events in that particular way...
you'd have to presume that Trump is the antichrist, and that's he's already revealed himself as such, and that this tiny war between Israel and an internal section of Israel (gaza) is in fact a much larger war.

Even if someone holds to the same general eschatology, I can't see that those verses fit these events.

Why? I do not think you would need to make any assertions about the Antichrist at all.

In Dan 9:27 the "he" mentioned is thought to be the antichrist, meaning he would have to be revealed by that point.

Anyway, even when I disagree with you on something, I always appreciate your strong convictions and your boldness.

Daniel 9:27 marks the beginning of the 70th week and a Shemitah always begins on Rosh Hashanah. In my opinion October 2, 2024 was the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27 when they passed the Pact for the future handing over government authority of every nation to the UN in the event of a worldwide crisis.

I fear most of us (Christians) have not spent much time on Eschatology.
