Romans 9:18; John 6:44; John 6:65; John 6:37; John 6:63; Titus 3:5 ~ God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. He saved us because of His mercy, through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Because this system is a "construct of men's imagination" sprinkled with some truth, it is like what John Piper states in his book “Five Points”......

He asserts that he will start with the Scriptures and end with TULIP.

But in reality he ends up defending TULIP with Scripture.

Typically they are very defensive and even though they have Google putting their websites at the tippy top of the search list the tide is turning, but not fast enough.

Yet, since it appeals to the ego it will probably never go away...... but to the very back of the closet would be good!
Yep, tulip ends when the scripture begins.

John 6:44

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them,
and I will raise them up at the last day. "

Why did Jesus say that?

Becuase he was rebuking the Jewish salvation by works crowd who were seeking new works to do in order to secure salvation.

But Romans is MORE than a book. It's a LETTER! It's an EPISTLE! So Paul wrote a personal letter having no original audience in mind? He just wrote stuff TO No One? To whom was his letter to be delivered? You need some serious help! Read 1:7 for starters, which Paul starts off with TO.....
The Book of Romans was written to the called, them that had Faith Rom 1:6-8

6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

So ethnicity isnt an issue, though the people of faith were some jews but mostly gentiles, yet people of Faith

Romans 9,10,11 is about and for the Jews, not the Gentiles.
It is for Gentile believers , thats why Rom 10:12-13

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
