I met my husband right as I was finishing some of my M. The., at the OPC I was attending, and pretty much immediately married him. I'd never been on a 'date' with anyone, and my husband got to be chaperoned by my seventy year old father until we married.
I thank God every day I never had to deal with the modern dating scene.

Only the ones that couldn't behave like gentlemen disappeared, but I developed an allergy to kitties.

Oof, I so can relate to this. My dog does not like strangers (tho she is curious), nor petting much. She can get used to new people (don't know how well, though) but it takes some time, so a man should have some patience and be brave.. so kind of an impossible equatio--- oh look CHEESE!
