Does anyone have a testimony of how God came through in a hopeless/impossible situation?

Many years ago, I had no money. None. I was not going to eat for many days until I got paid. I had no credit card as I never imagined that I'd need one and they were not so common then. I prayed and told God if He didn't come through, I would starve. The next day, there was a cheque in the mail for nearly a week's wage.

The cheque was repayment of a excess charge from an accident 6 months before. It was not my fault. The insurance company had told me that if the driver at fault paid up, I would be refunded. But if I had heard nothing in 6 weeks, I was getting nothing. So I assumed the money was a loss.

It could be dismissed as coincidence. There is no such thing. God is even is small things. It had rained non stop for weeks (the good old days now when we are so drought prone). The kids were going nuts. I took the wife and kids to a place where there is usually little rain. There was 90 mm (3-1/2") in an hour. I did not want to disappoint the kids, so I asked God for a break. Immediately there was a break in the clouds. About 2 hours later, the clouds built up again so we got back in the car and went home.

We visited an historic mansion. It reminded me of England and I had a touch of nostalgia. I said I'd like to see the place in England again. Not a fervent prayer, just that it would be nice. We had four kids, so no money for overseas trips.

Later that year, during the English summer, work sent me there for some training. I was away for 3 weeks. It was the only time during the year that there were no family birthdays, anniversary or other events where I should have been home. I had one free weekend. I was able to see the place I wanted to see and some other sights as well.

There is no such thing as coincidence. God is real, He loves us and He wants us to know Him. Ensure that you have no unconfessed sin, then come in Jesus name. What He's done for millions of others countless times, He will do for you.

Most welcome.

Multiple times. When I graduated high school, I panicked because I had no job and no money to go to college and asked God for help. A week later I had a tuition waiver for my first year and a $500 scholarship to pay for my books. I also got my first job that month.

As a young adult, I got an unexpected check in the mail. Very unlike me, I got it in the bank the same day. It wasn't until later that I discovered I would have been overdrawn without realizing it following an unusual slate of bills for things such as Christmas presents and vet bills.

Another time, my mom and I were out and about together. We had a swim class later and some time to kill so we stopped at a rest stop to take a nap. About the time we needed to leave for the pool, we awoke to discover the lights had gotten left on and we had a dead battery. I knew we had jumper cables but God took care of us even better than that. Emerging from the car I asked the first person I saw coming back from the rest stop if he would give us a jump start. It turned out that not only was he parked next to us, but he was a AAA driver who had a device in his vehicle to instantly start our car. For whatever it's worth, we were AAA members but he was uninterested in doing any paperwork so he just gave us a start and was on his way.

The biggest one in my life, though, was a few years back when God sort of threw down the gauntlet with my roommate and I. We were both without jobs, had no income, and we're running out of savings quickly. She was eligible for social security but when we got to the final step, God suggested there would be a blessing in not pursuing it yet. We took him up on it and ended up going a whole year without any regular income. Although it was frightening at times, as we trusted God he provided week after week. There was even a day when we had no money but I felt like I wanted to go shopping, and my roommate needed flowers for someone. God even found a way to fulfill both of those needs at once. Halfway through that year, a friend decided she would help my roommate complete the social security forms, but at that point it was blocked. After about 10 or 11 months of this, though, my roommate could feel that this period of scarcity was coming to a close, and sure enough, the paperwork got straightened out 12 months after we had completely run out of money. Ever since, I have much more peace about finances because I know God is not limited by them.

i'll share 3 with you. well, 1st, nothing to me is hopeless or impossible. 1.when i had covid, i had it only 5 days. the 6th day, i woke up feeling 95% better. 7th day, totally healed. & i never took any medicine at all. 2. i had a back problem on a summer day so i went up to my favorite place to talk to Jesus. lo' & behold, there was a healing service going on & that was a catholic church. i walked in for the later portion of it. when i stepped 1 foot out the door, my pain left me forever! 3. i was snowplowing during the daytime once & it was snowing so hard plus with the wind blowing, you couldn't see properly. imagine that was daytime! so i prayed to Jesus, "Jesus, clear this up". & seconds later the storm diminished quite a bit! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!
