I suppose the title should be “trusting Solomon” as he wrote most of proverbs. The problem I have is that he was somebody who truly left the Lord and followed after his own desires. Yes, I know all of the Bible writers were flawed. Perhaps he seems exceptional in my eyes. For example, he gives a lot of advice regarding Marriage and faithfulness to our spouses yet he had hundreds and hundreds of wives and concubines. there are other aspects of life he was a so-called expert on. However, I doubt he followed those principles as well. Hopefully somebody can help clarify this so I can trust the proverbs.
