Hey everyone!

My name is Antonia and I just joined today. I hope to find likeminded people to chat with on here.
I enjoy talking to people from different countries and cultures. I‘d like to see and learn about how we all serve God differently. I aim to become a better Christian that way.

Glad to meet a genuine German.
My first pastor, after I trusted Christ as my Savior, went to Germany to lead unbelieving Germans to the Lord.

I never learned German, (other than commands for Rottweilers I trained), but had American friends who did. I still have one of those friends....not the rottweilers, but a buddy from high school. Lol

Good morning, Antonia and welcome to Christian Chat!

When I served in the Navy back in the 80's, I was stationed in Hawaii. Over the 3 years I was there I've had conversations with several different soldiers who served in the Army at Schofield Army base in Hawaii who ALL said they loved being stationed in Germany the most and would spend their entire military career there if they could. :)

How well I remember March of the Penguins from 2005! And even more so the animation
called Happy Feet from 2006. I watched HF so many times I think I wore out the DVD...

Yeah I remember March of the Penguins and some of the Attenborough series! Great photography and narration. I'll have to look up the Happy Feet one.
Oh, here it is.

I was expecting Penguins and got Steve Martin instead! 😄
