Matthew 1.1 has been changed from "Jesus Christ" to "Jesus the Messiah" a changed him from being a son to a descendant.

Matthew 1.16 has been changed from Jesus call "the Christ" to "the Messiah"

Matthew 1.18 from "Jesus Christ" to "Jesus the Messiah"

Mark 1.1 changed from "Jesus Christ, the Son of God" to "Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God"

Luke 3:23-38 removed son of Joseph and removed son of God. Replaced with Adam being God son.

Luke 4.4 removed "but by every word of God"

Luke 4.8 removed "get behind me satan"

Few Scriptures to go with this:

for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. Matthew 24.5

Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matthew 16.16

Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 16.17

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6.63

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3

I believe this is evidence of the anti Christ being present in Christianity highest levels for a very long time and why you see some people baptizing in "Jesus name" and ending prayer in Jesus name" that is the presence of the anti Christ.

this is the verse people used to get that idea about prayer:

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14.3

but the truth is here:

I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, so that they may be one just as We are. John 17.11

I'm sure there is more to find but this is all God has revealed to myself so far if you find anything else please let me know.

The word Ecclesia has been changed to the word Church
Ecclesia in Greek means the called out ones
Church in Greek means building
The building in AD 70 was destroyed as Jesus said would happen, did happen
The Ecclesia is not the building (Church) it is the people in belief to God over Son as risen for them to be new in God's Spirit and Truth John 4:23-24
Yet flesh cannot handle it is not good enough. So it has to do to get to be new and no flesh can or ever does (But Son's) please God
And Son was not born of man, born of woman yes, not man. And man continues to look good in front of others, and no flesh can please Father in wording to get it. If it were or is, then Son came here to earth and went to that cross willingly to die once for all people in vain, and will not flow through the veins of people as born new in humility too, thank you, at least for me I see I am nobody, God id all in all, whom I trust to get me through it all sincerely thank you
All things to the flesh are personal and pervasive, yet nothing here on earth is permanent
Thanks as each of us grow into maturity as in Hebrews 5:12-6:3

Yeah..so congregation and assembly are possibly more direct translations of ecclessia.

But the primary thing is the context they are in.

I saw a writer explain that the word 'church' has a more spiritual meaning than plain congregation or assembly.

Both are people gathered in a location for a general meeting.. but 'church ' is The Lord's meeting.

Assembly and congregation..can be for anything.

Thats what i found out when I saw the King Jimmy translators had put in 'church' ..instead of 'congregation' or 'assembly' in some occasions.

If God were doing the revealing, He would tell you that "Messiah" and "Christ" mean exactly the same thing. Since He didn't, whatever "revealed" this claptrap to you wasn't God.

Stop wasting your time with conspiracy theories rooted in rank ignorance, and stop playing one verse of Scripture off against another. Both John 14:3 and John 17:11 are completely true.

Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Matthew 6:9

Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? John14:9

I'm not surprised the way this world is going now.

I caught an episode of the LDS production about Christ and his Apostles, The Chosen. They showed Matthew as a scribe seemingly keeping a record of his teachings and miracles .

I think man will always put our two cents in. We can't help it. We like to think we're necessary in virtually everything.

That is where discernment comes in, given by God to God's kids, accepted in his love and mercy of Son
Believe, receive and see new, thanks
Fools Gold always appears real. Real Gold is real as God is forever in love to us all to choose to love God back and not accuse God of punishing anyone. Rather disciplining for our good, there is gigantic difference to me anyways

Is this not the original Greek then

View attachment 271232 aqui
I do not speak Greek, looking it up has not helped me, just to see it, translation helps a lot
EX: another misnomer 1 John 1:9 does not state in Greek to give one more forgiveness, actually to have (Past tense) already given it at the cross
Another the word "if"in Greek can mean "since or if"
When translated If, that leaves doubt in people when read "if over since"
If you believe, leaves me to think do I believe God, I suspect others also
When since I believe God, there is no doubt, I know from within as in Romans 8:15-16 tells me I think I got the right verses there, it is in Romans 8
Only in truth God and you know, whether or not you believe God or not
One can then rest, knowing they believe God Hebrews 4 great chapter on belief to me

Stick with the King James version. Some of the scriptures have been changed in the newer versions and make void the word of God. Rev 22:18-19 warns those who would add or take away from God's word not to do it.

I read all versions, I compare and stand in trust to God to reveal the truth and has as I have learned much, especially putting the past behind me moving forward in the present given me, life everlasting in Father’s Spirit and truth
for us all, I believe and am sealed to see and continue in this love and mercy the done work of Son, done once for everyone to choose consciously to believe God or not
‘Hebrews 6 very clear to me about no more forgiveness is offered since that done work of son done once for all to now choose to believe or not. those in belief, stop and love all, not a few as did when not born new yet, by God, Thanks

Yep.

”ekklisia”
Greek = Ekklisía
French = église
Spanish = iglesia
Latin = ecclesia
English = church (record scratch)

The odd one out is English. The fifth century Cappadocian (central Turkey) Christians called their communities Kyriakos oikos (the Lord’s house). They had a major influence on the translation of the Bible into Gothic, an old east Germanic language. The Goths rendered Kyriakos oikos as ciric. In old English that became kerk, and then in English ‘church’ and in German Kirche.

The KJV translators used the familiar “kirche” to render the english “church”. The trouble with that was a kirche was a building. And so now we think nothing about saying “going to church” when we are the church, “the called out”. IMO this is a grievous error that led to a tradition of thinking contrary to the mind of Christ among the believers. Still, the KJV has value.

Ah, instead of admitting you were wrong and discussing the text, you dismiss your critic as less spiritual than you. That's not the "marc" of a mature Christian. Rather, it's the mark of arrogance and self-righteousness.

There is no need to hijack this thread into a KJV-only bickerfest, but suffice to say that your premise is flawed and your comments are baseless.

Thank you, informative

You, I bet you know this too

Constantine, had Church buildings for people to gather in. these priests there then were Pagan. The people were not attending, them being Pagan.
Constantine had a meeting with his Pagan Priests. In the meeting he told them to read the Bible, tell the people you believe God and then you will get them in and can do what you want and get their money, using the Bible
Wow, the New Church began and people are stripped of their goods, thinking they are doing good
There is one Pastor, I listened to, his name is Bob George. He, in all his time of having Church, never asked for anyone to have to give. if one was told to give, then it is not giving.
I have read the books, he wrote, amazing to me to see way back then, by God on that cross before I was ever born I was and am forgiven in the sacrifice of Son. for me as well as everyone else also. Floored, no way could that be, not for me, a person of no-good.
I had been taught to repent (ask for more forgiveness) if sin again.
I got to the point, I could never leave prayer position. asking constantly for more forgiveness, since I sinned again.
Then through Bob George I got the truth of the whole Bible,
"I" and all are forgiven by God on that cross of Son done once for everyone to either believe it or not. Choose to believe he is risen and see new over time, getting taught new as to see things like drinking too much not good for me anyways. Then the next problem to see and get that settled too.
Books like "Classic Christianity" "Complete in Christ" " Living above your circumstances" and I have read many other books as well. The Entire Bible in "King James" version along with "The Living Bible" and many other versions as well.
I only want to know God, and now see God is LOVE and there is no Law against Love, the greatest command of all commands
That is freeing, in upholding Law, over the literal Law, that I was under in that Church building I used to go to. to get taught, and got taught wrong, under Law, until God intervened to me through Bob George, he ran a ministry in Dallas Texas, and had a radio show called "People to people" then. Bob has passed on since. He never promoted himself or anyone else else over God Father and Son being for us never against us, as I thought was many a time.
I have repented, Changed my mind from "Unbelief" to "Belief"
I stand right there, my oil lamp filled by God Father in risen Son only. "God is good all the time as good is God all the time"
From that movie "God is not dead"
God just loves us all, otherwise Son would not have gone willingly to that cross, that had to get done first, before any new life c=could ever be given to us the people that choose to believe God over it all, at least for me, thanks for all your posts, I have read them and hear much through them

Yessir!

The church's focus on sin is partly due to its history of selling salvation as a commodity. It started with the Roman Church (that's why all the jokes have Peter at the gate of heaven) and continued on through the many different iterations of the same message.

I could go on and on and on. Some will read my first sentence and bristle, not knowing how they could possibly describe even the Lord without mentioning the word "sin".

Bless you!
