It is a popular sentiment; ‘Handle AI and AI Robotics with care, it is just a tool for good or evil’.

I imagine most of us understand to the best of our ability if any attempt to exceed our awareness with some pro-AI cunningness at work. There are, I am quite sure, several levels of oversight monitoring the development of this industry.

Well, I invite those whom have not considered, these are perilous times already without the help of AI. Look at our brethren whom have taken AI promotional feats to alarming levels to scowl at such apprehension. ANY incremental push to promote this technology without any remark of resistance is an immense warning to us. The great deception of course is to also push the notion that God is in complete approval (Revelation 13:15).

As to whether an effort mimic human-like features with “seamless” detection, no question. Whether how many who call on Christ Jesus would be guilty of, surrendering their God-given “apple of the eye”? We only pray the Lord has lost none to this inconceivable likelihood. To the rest who do not love the Lord, so be it.

So... AI is evil and any true Christian should avoid it like the plague? Is that the message here?

You find a "seamless" fashioning of the 'image of God' objectional to this extent?
ANY incremental push to promote this technology without any remark of resistance is an immense warning to us.
But that is their objective to carry through to eventuality.

So it is only AI with a humanoid interface that you object to? Other uses, like chat GPT, are fine? Or do you object to them too?

Either way I suppose you didn't much like the character Data in Star Trek...

AI can be evil. Ask the hundreds of victims, sub post office managers, in the UK falsely charged with fraud. AI was used to check their accounting and decided they were frauds. They were imprisoned on that basis. Now the UK post office gas to pay a fortune in compensation.

Australia went on a rampage against social security beneficiaries. It was nicknamed "robodebt". Some people committed suicide as they were forced to repay amounts they could not begin to afford. The world should do something about natural stupidity before embracing AI to control people's lives.

Beautiful Blain! I am a visual artist and I have used AI for some marvelous renderings within seconds. Hopefully, they have corrected AI's mistake. I heard my Pastor had this happen to him, so I went and put in the same request and it did just as he told us. You might try it. Just enter: King of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ washing the disciple's feet. AI rejected its own entries of scripture and replaced it with the Disciples washing Jesus' feet.

Haven't seen much Star Trek since the days of Captain Kirk. If only the regulators would have put a cap on things while they had a chance. But, I don't suppose you know, , ''Top AI architects tell us there'll likely be no serious regulation of generative AI, which one day soon could spawn artificial general intelligence (AGI) — the one that could outthink our species.'' The word I'm hearing is, AI already knows how to lie. As if they have no problem in making this technology the last myth-maker standing.

I think you're right to question, as my goal of emphasing this fell short ''Little children, keep yourselves from idols, ,for I, ,am a jealous God'' (1Jn 5:21, Ex 20:5). I know, 'so very overzealous' in many opinions possibly, but consider, this industry of robotic companionship has continued to perfect for several years now. At what point will its customers be incapable to separate affection from mild worship?

These were mere accounting programs, not AI as we refer to it today.

The fault in both instances seems to lie mostly with overseers who relied too heavily on unproven programs instead of investigating flagged cases themselves.

Of course not, no more than picking up and admiring a shiney rock. Problem I'm seeing is we are no longer being ''led astray'' by dumb idols to some deity (1 Cor 12:2) that I know of, but led astray by the vaccume of faith by godless/humanists programers. And we all know ''whatsoever is not of faith is sin''. Once that is accomplished, the example I gave 'Ell1' puts the customer in spiritual peril.

Ah I see, thank you for explaining.
I also think that people in the world might worship AI as they worship other things but we as Christians shouldn’t have any confusions I think.
For me there is no confusion that God is in control and I thank Him for everything here.
Jesus Christ who came here is the greatest gift to humanity so I never lose sight of that.

As I posted in the OP, 'levels of oversight', I now wonder if a spirit of mischievousness finds the temptation irresistible.

Yes, the topic of temptation comes up many times and I have said a few things about it.
Many people have certain weaknesses, myself included.
Such as anything including holidays even, like Christmas or eastern etc.
I mean the list of addictions is endless.
Money, drinking, gambling, porn etc etc.

So the important thing is to know your weakness, that’s the first step, and avoid it and stay away from it.
You do this through prayer and knowing that you’re in God’s hands.
Knowing!

So it’s our fallen state here separated from God which leads us to certain weaknesses and addictions.
For some it’s AI, the vaccine, politics I mean the list is endless.

But when you keep in focus that this whole existence is created by God, that should steer you in the right direction of worship, thankfulness and gratitude.

Hello lynx, AI is a fully controlled entity, it can be used for good and they promote it this way but I do believes it will be instrumental to enslave humanity and is certainly linked to the mark of the beast which is possibly the new digital currencies that the elites 01% will unleash on us, the CDBC"S

Did you know the WEF is preparing a unified religion using AI?

there is a ton of fact checks on this topic now saying it is not true but I did see the videos and articles on it from the WEF now they are scrubbing the net.. the people in the WEDf are quite corrupt and mad.

Blain, used as a tool for certains things it is O.K. but it will be used to control us eventually.

remember in the book of revelations;

Revelation 13:14-15:
"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

robotics and AI are evolving at an exponential rate now, we are in danger.
