Hi! I'm new here. I thought there was chat/forum about CU here? Is it true? Or was chatgpt wrong again? Lol

I have no hope. I'd like to exchange even if it won't change a thing...

Hello @Hopeless_bat, and welcome to CChat :)

As for a chat/forum concerning universalism specifically, I don't think we've ever had one of those, but I'm pretty sure that you can discuss it here by starting a thread about it on a board like this one: Bible Discussion Forum - Christian Chat Rooms & Forums

As far as having no hope goes, if you don't mind me asking (and only in you don't mind me asking) how did you get to this point in your life (and how long ago did it happen) (again, please don't answer those questions if you'd prefer not to, for any reason).

We can pray for you if you'd like us to. Just let us know.

Also, I see that you are unsure about your spiritual status, so perhaps you are seeking to know God (and find hope again, in Him) If so, may God bless you as you seek to find, know and understand Him :giggle:

I was w/o hope once and had a deeply disturbing "dark night of the soul" kind of experience, a little over 38 years ago. As a result, however, I finally came to have faith and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (when I came to realize how deeply I was loved by Him ... He, after all, chose to come here and die for us, both to redeem us and to save us from our sins because He loves us, and so that we would not have to live apart from Him, nor He us, in the eternity that is yet to come .. e.g. John 3:16; Romans 5:8.

~Deuteronomy (David)
p.s. - I LOVE Switzerland. What a beautiful and wondrous place it is that you get to call home :)(y)(y) (though I've only spent time in the western half of it).

We are hope dealers and what we have, we give for free because it was given freely to us.

Christian Universalism is false in the sense that something is not Christian if strays away from the Bible's source of hope in Jesus Christ.

What hope do we have for those in Christ?
1. Forgiven of sins
2. Loved by God
3. Salvation of the soul
4. Our bodily resurrection
5. No more pain, tears, or sorrow
6. An eternity with God and a Eden like new Earth
7. Saved loved ones will be seen again.
8. Sin will be no more.
9. Death will be no more.
10. Evil will be no more.
11. Evil done by people will be rightly judged.
12. We can have hope in answered prayers.
13. The fulfilled prophecy gives us hope that the future is being fulfilled.
14. We have hope in miracles because God can do the unnatural.
15. We hope in each other as God's remnant will never leave us alone.
16. We hope in all things because says that He will never forsake us.

1 Peter 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Welcome to CC!

May I suggest that going to ChatGPT about things that matter is not wise. Go to the readily-available source of truth: the Bible. :)

Hello from the United States,

I am of the opinion that salvation is a Choice rather than a requirement. That said, there is a Way you can be 100% sure of heaven.
Jesus is the Way<

Hopeless_bat, Psalm 34:17-18: "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit". Our hope comes from Jesus, who guarantees us an eternal life in peace and joy in His wonderful Kingdom.
'I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit'(Rom 15:13), in Jesus' name, God bless & keep you Amen🌹🙏✝✡
