I don’t think their is a “hatred” of single women

I do think single women are (or men) not good for society and themselves.

Single women are the BIGGEST voting block for Democrats and leftist positions. Which is very bad for the country. (Speaking in generalities ladies)

I have been saying for years, the reason for that is intrinsically, whether they realize it or not, women want to be taken care of. This is not an insult or knock on women. It’s how God wired us. Men provide for women.

If women are not being cared for by men, then they will and do, look for the government to care for them.

So I do think this lends to a little bit of friction with men in that regard. But hatred? No.
I think its a reciprocal relationship too. Men are largely expected to protect the society in the event it is attacked. There might be different ways the men protect, but physical force is one that men are better at, and a man who takes from society while the going is good, yet who will refuse to defend it when needed, would often be despised. Women are not expected to protect society, but are expected to nurture it and grow it. A woman who wants to take the benefits that society offers, but refuses to commit to a relationship in order to give birth to the next generation to sustain and continue the society might similarly be despised. Obviously, there are different valid reasons for why men and women can't or won't undertake these roles (e.g. in a split, divided and/or godless society, a man may say its not worth risking his life to protect such a society, and a woman similarly may say the risk of committing to an unworthy man is too high, so she is unable to birth the next generation), but I think these are general expectations.

I think this is true only for women living on assistance. I don't see how the government is taking care of me. Women are generally raised to be independent, whether that's good or bad.

Yes. I spoke in generalities. I posted this in another thread awhile back. It bears repeating, as it demonstrates just how diabolical those that realized this truth earlier are:

From the article:
One of the most insidious and destructive policies unleashed on all poor people, but primarily directed at the black family, was President Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty. It was supposedly intended to “not only to relieve the symptom of poverty, but to cure it and, above all, to prevent it.”

This was a lie, and a knowing and evil plan that while wrapped in supposed good intentions was really designed to destroy the black family structure -- keeping them dependent on government forever. LBJ admitted as much with his brag that “I’ll have them n*ggers voting Democrats for 200 years.”
It didn’t border on evil, it was evil -- and remains so to this day.

For in this welfare plan was a simple, but diabolical design certain to damage poor families -- black, white, and everyone in between.
An honest fellow Democrat, Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan begged LBJ to not include this provision as he knew its evil intent. But LBJ refused to do that as this was the linchpin of his entire plan. His plan to have blacks -- and all poor people -- vote Democrat for 200 years wouldn’t work without the destruction of poor families.

What was this linchpin? The inclusion of a provision that all these wonderful welfare benefits would be available to black mothers and children but only if no father -- or any man really -- was involved in their home lives and their children’s lives. And the more fatherless children they had, the more money they got. The much maligned “welfare queen” was a planned creation of the federal government.
But only if that one condition was met -- no father living there. They even regularly sent welfare agents out to check if a man might be living with the woman. This was one of the primary goals of “home visits.”

A lot of comments and discussion online on population decline and low birth rates devolve into hate on childless women (and also cats). I have seen comments such as childless women shouldn't vote, have a pension, and they will be old and lonely. There is something evil about these comments.

I don't really understand this, and am trying to pinpoint the core reasons why people (especially men) have negative views on childless women. There is a small group of women who do not like marriage or kids. Could it be that the haters think that all childless women are like this? Or, do people think these women have "lucked out" by not going through all the ups and downs of marriage and family life? Or, is it because childless people will need other people's kids to care for them in the future (won't be free obviously, will be paid). If people feel so sorry for old childless women, why the hate?
I would not get into such conversations. What any woman decides to do with her
life is up to her, if she is not walking outside of Jesus teachings then she is doing no wrong.

Men or women who take issue with such a woman's choice really need to mind their own business and keep their mouth shut.

Men think of single women and cat ladies as the tiktok blue haired psychos ranting about killing babies and such. Or the shaved head women claiming they're not having s** anymore bc a dictator is in charge.

I'm somewhat close to a couple cat lady friends (not the psycho blue haired kind) who are childless. 😅 They're fiesty and entertaining.

I should add 1 technically lost her daughter and is not actually childless. The other idk if she didn't want them or couldn't have them. People in general are very rude when it comes to having a family.... as if it's up to every woman. I waited 5 years to get pregnant with my son. I never assume a woman didn't want them unless they flat out tell me. And even then I take it with a grain of salt bc yes people lie so you won't feel sorry for them.

Just in terms of the general culture, third wave feminism has not done women any favors, ultimately bad consequences for men and women.

I generally assume women want kids at some point, and that married women/men are trying for kids. Among the women who don't have kids, the emotions (from what I've observed) range from feeling relieved to not having the responsibility to being desperate for kids. If a woman is generally hesitant about getting married for whatever reason, she is less likely to be really desperate for kids. So, I think there is link between feelings about relationships and kids, one follows the other in many cases.

This isn't only true for women living on assistance. Some examples of government "taking care" of women are legislated gender quotas for jobs or study (instead of on merit alone), legislated maternity leave, legislated lower retirement ages enabling pensions to be taken sooner, even different legal status with regards to crimes committed (e.g. abortion is legalised for women in many places, yet a man who murders a pregnant woman is often justly held accountable for 2 murders - taking the life of the mother and child). Not all the aforementioned apply to all jurisdictions, but a lot of self-entitled women who don't think they're taking from society are actually taking a lot, and not all are living on assistance.

A lot of these items are not specific to single women. Plus, there is no maternity leave in the U.S. Social security age criteria are the same for both men and women. I would add that singles pay more in taxes and do not get the deductions, so that takes care of whatever they are benefiting from society.

This is sort of my point - I don't think the disdain is for "single women" as such - more freeloaders. Women having children (within a loving marriage), is one way women give back to society, but it's not the only way. I doubt a single woman who is a doctor saving lives every day would be despised.

I'm pretty sure there are gender quotas for jobs and study (and race! DEI?), but wasn't aware that there was no state mandated maternity leave or equality of retirement ages. :)

You picked that out of contest, did I not say as long as she is walking in ways that please the Lord, if not forgive me.
Okay I see now how you meant it, the focus being she is walking according to God's plans for her, no worries. :)

There are definitely discussions and youtube videos about this online. I read the comments on articles on population decline. Even JD Vance is guilty of this.
JD Vance could have said "our nation has gone to far in adhering to radical feminist ideologues" but things are more palatable to the average person, i think, when you dumb them down. The only problem with that is when you dumb things down, it sounds... dumb.
I don't think he has a problem with cats, or single people... and if he does, I'll be the first one to say we should send him to the dumpster. Our birth-rate issue is rooted in all sorts of government/economy stuff that makes and has made marriage and childbearing undesirable (and to my generation, millenials in particular).

But at the end of the day, I think Vance was coming out against feminists that no man would ever go near, and not an excess of women who are forgoing marriage in order to devote themselves to the Lord. The latter seems pretty unlikely.

You can never be sure, though. It's like if you take your eyes off a politician for one second, they will be voting for gay stuff a minute later.
