A lot of comments and discussion online on population decline and low birth rates devolve into hate on childless women (and also cats). I have seen comments such as childless women shouldn't vote, have a pension, and they will be old and lonely. There is something evil about these comments.

I don't really understand this, and am trying to pinpoint the core reasons why people (especially men) have negative views on childless women. There is a small group of women who do not like marriage or kids. Could it be that the haters think that all childless women are like this? Or, do people think these women have "lucked out" by not going through all the ups and downs of marriage and family life? Or, is it because childless people will need other people's kids to care for them in the future (won't be free obviously, will be paid). If people feel so sorry for old childless women, why the hate?

In the past they were called spinsters, and usually more pitied than hated. Sometimes people would start a rumor that an old childless lady was a witch, and then she would be mildly feared.

Currently I don't see a lot of hate for older childless women though. That seems to have gone by the wayside, at least around here.

Of course there are still a lot of crazy cat lady memes online, but that's just another stereotype. I'm pretty sure most people who forward those memes don't take them seriously and apply them to all single, older, childless women they meet.

There are definitely discussions and youtube videos about this online. I read the comments on articles on population decline. Even JD Vance is guilty of this.

I'd argue the complaint is more against self-entitled women, and likely extends to anyone who expects to take more than he gives. For example, the man who doesn't work, but expects the society to pay for his cigarettes and fatherless children. The same for the woman who doesn't want to marry or have children, but sleeps around, murders any children she conceives yet unborn, and then votes for corrupt politicians who will utilise taxpayer funds to continue enabling her wicked lifestyle. I don't think there's really any animosity for hermit-type folks, men or women, who just want to be left alone - not contributing to society, and likewise not expecting anything from it.

The main problem with the above is income tax (and money creation/fraud, which is a form of taxation). The government steals from those with families or who are contributing to society in other ways, to subsidize those folk who are not (or who are actively destroying the country), but then the folk who have these destructive tendencies get to vote for corrupt politicians to perpetuate the cycle. This is a key problem with democracy (51% control 49%, if the counting is honest, which it's not), and the reason why the focus has been on restoring the system (in its practice) to a Republican form of government. In a Republican form of government (in practice rather than theory), without the government theft on behalf of destroyers, the destructive folk would simply amend their wicked ways, or die out.

The whole "girl boss" thing is rampant and has been for a few years. It's the ultrafemininist agenda that teaches women to hate men and see them as worthless. The "we don't need men, we don't want men" mindset.
There are women that encourage other women to purposefully use and mistreat men just to get things from them, then discard them as if they're nothing.
Many women also have insanely high standards, particularly on men's income, for those that don't hate men. As well as many women now on OnlyFans, and/or with high body counts.
So by many men it may be seen that a single woman, at least after a certain age, is single because she over valued herself and expected too much from a man, or slept around a lot or shared their bodies for money, this no man wanted them. These are seen as low value women.
So low value women don't get married for those reasons. No one wants them.
Or they're a man hating feminist. Neither role comes across well, especially to men.
So this may be the increase youre seeing. Or related to it.
Because of these types of women I think more traditional thinking men have cranked up their attitudes to counter the fanatical feminism. Which may lead them to say the kinds of things you're hearing.
Not saying I agree with the attitude, just some things to consider.

^ The angle presented above is also valid, but the thing is that people don't leave you in peace when you're married or when you're single despite living a normal life.
So, that's the angle i was responding to without knowing anything about anyone's personal lives here.

Aside from the loose women and the feminists, I would agree that many women are single because they have certain, perhaps high, expectations. But the type of expectations change over time. My observation is that many women, who may be a bit older, are willing to "settle" a bit on finances or education if the guy is really great otherwise. Most younger women have high expectations, especially on a guy's looks. Think teenage girls, they basically only care about looks and nothing else. As they get older, they are a bit more materialistic and want guys who can wine and dine them/have a good time/take them out. However, as they get even older, they are less impressed by finances (unless they are really needy) as they can afford their own stuff. By this stage many women have the "we don't need men, but we want them" mindset. There are women who have overvalued themselves but the case for many is that they have not found someone at the same/similar level.

This is mostly common among women in college/their early/mid twenties...going on dates to get free dinners, etc. Older women don't have time for this.

There has been growing trend due to climate scare, sexual freedom, the cost of living, and the cost of welfare, that has promoted the idea that women who do not have kids are doing the country/the world a favor.

On the other hand the sovereignty of a country can not survive if they are not producing enough children to replace the workforce. Some governments are starting to give really good incentives to have more kids because the only other answer is to bring in a bunch of foreigners that you must assimilate. (Complete assimilation seems to be the hope but probably just wishful thinking)

Or in cases of war, the age of fighting men greatly depends on a baby boom and assimilated to want to fight for their country. Otherwise you will have a generation that cares nothing about the outcome as they see the other country no worse than their own.

Some of the hate may be due to government propaganda as a country depends on a positive birth rate to outdo the death rate.

A possible source may be hate from the traditional image of family. A marriage, home, kids, etc. And to reject tradition, some fear is a slippery slope to rejecting the family altogether. Unmarried couples are on the rise so some may see this as a problem.

Either way, the Bible doesn't speak against a woman not having kids but it definitely speaks very highly of having kids.

You are aware that the Founding Fathers, in their inimitable wisdom, only gave voting rights to property owners, and not women?

You should also be aware, that had women never been allowed to vote, its more than likely that we would not have murdered 70-80 million unborn children in this nation.

Had women not been allowed to vote, there is a very high likelihood that Obama or Biden would have never been President.

And before you say, "but I'm a Christian woman."

Here's a little polling for you on christian women and abortion.

https://research.lifeway.com/2021/1...have-had-an-abortion-identify-as-a-christian/

I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. But if you are a little hurt or angry right now. You're basically proving my point.

I love Christian women. I love that God made you caring and compassionate. I love all of your emotions and feelings, every sweet little thing about you that makes you a woman. And those are precisely all the reasons you should not vote.

Women were created by God to be much more concerned with the well being of others than their male counterparts. And yet, with all that compassion and tenderness built into you by Almighty God, women still murder their own children or support the murder of children at alarming rates. Why? Because its an highly charged emotional issue, and women are highly emotionally charged beings. And easily manipulated by those emotions.

Men were put here by God to love and protect our families too. But we are much more practical about how that should be done and not so easily swayed by our emotions. Its not a fault, its a feature.

You're right. But these mindsets in 20/30s is what leads to them being single beyond that. Because most people are married off by then.
Not to mention the sense that a woman is "settling" for a man is not exactly a favorable idea to men. And may turn men away. It would me.

Also it's younger women with the "don't want, don't need men" attitude. College women are among this group.

All of these attitudes stem from the woke mind virus. Which is actively taught in colleges, and now, even lower grades, so we've yet to experience the 5th graders being taught woke beliefs becoming adults.

And the insane expectations of younger women looking for a man are more fairly recent in history. So it's not easily comparable to looking very far back at younger women's expectations.

Good grief - are you kidding?

I would loooooooooove  to find a good 40-something or 50-something woman who has never been married, never been pregnant, cannot have children ('cause I don't/wouldn't want her to get pregnant), and is okay (emotionally) with not having any children...

{ I don't have anything against children - it's just that, at this stage of my life, I figure I missed that boat and don't want to raise any kids - I just want the woman [in my life] - for a companion. And, it would be best if she is in the same kind of boat that I am in - I actually don't consider it to necessarily be a bad thing - it happens to be exactly what I am looking for - she being a good Christian woman, etc. of course. }

There are various other things that come into play when considering what would make a good match between people - and, I certainly want "a good match" - but - I am just saying that the exact opposite of the above described attitude also exists - in some cases, a childless woman is very desirable!

Of course, I am not interested in some of the stereotypical women mentioned in this thread so far - the abusers, etc. - but, that is naturally understood.

However, all things being what they should be and need to be - "the 'childless' status" is not necessarily a problem - it can actually be a blessing.

"Good heavens - where are single childless women? Just sayin'..."

There is someone for everyone and everyone knows what they want or don't want.
But as far as general statements go, it's best to ignore negative comments typically.

Because if we do specifics, i don't get 90% of the comments in the single forums, so i stopped reading that like 2 years ago and i mark it as read, and i don't understand any comments from singles in the family section either, so i don't respond because they make zero sense.
Everyone has like 10,000 assumptions basically.
Treat people as individuals and then go from there.
