If you don't believe in miracles, this is not the thread for you.

For the rest of us.

Please tell the group the most recent working of the Spirit that you've experienced in your life. And then, tell us please, what was the most dramatic act of the Spirit that you have personally experienced or have been witness too.

And please, don't refuse to share because you don't think anyone will believe you.

God is ever performing wonders, great and small, for those who put their trust in Him.

Praise Him

I did not want to go first, not sure why. But seeing as this thread is still waiting for approval. Here goes.

I've been trying to fix my heater for days and either it was over my head (took it apart twice already) or there was some distraction keeping me from it. And its cold here. Another distraction today, its late afternoon, my feet are freezing, and my heater will not turn on, and there's no reason it should, it howels like the north wind and blows just as cold.

So I bow my head and ask my Father, (because He's done this before but that's another story)

Father if I'm hot or cold, I love you.
And whether I'm cold or hot, you love me. I would really love some heat. And since I already know you can fix heaters, can you fix this one even if its temporary till I can tear it apart again?.

Well, I'm laughing as I type this. I got up and flipped a few switches, banged on it a couple of times (and yes I thought about Moses) turned it on, and Yah be praised. My feet are warm for the first time in days. And so far, heater is still working.

Back in my late teens/early 20s I had no car, only a bicycle. I biked a few miles to my job and back. I didn't even get a driver's license until I was 21... Inertia, y'know.

I wasn't a Christian at the time, but I did remember what they said in Sunday School. For FOUR AND A HALF YEARS the rain in East Tennessee routed itself around my work schedule. I don't know how many times I got to my job just as the first drops were falling.

God didn't have to do a thing for me. I sure wasn't doing anything for him. But I asked him to and he did.

There are other things I have seen, but they happened to other people. That is their testimony, not mine.

There is one other thing though:

One Thursday I was... Not where I should be. Nobody knew though, and I was fine with putting on a good face at church the next Sunday. Then a good friend of mine came up to me at church and asked if I was doing okay. Yeah, I'm fine I guess. "Well I was concerned about you. Last Thursday I felt like I should pray for you."

God let me know multiple things there:
1. He knew what I was doing.
2. He was concerned, not angry.
3. He could send me a message without airing my dirty laundry in front of everyone, even the person he sent the message by.

Amen friend! Please make sure to give Him thanks. Still seeing and receiving miracles here.
One of the tools He has given me in electrical/mechanical and all other situations is to ask "Need help Lord", and He always does, helped a friend with removing a ball hitch, he had both feet on the axle pulling the pipe wrench, I was heating with MAPP gas, nothing moved, I said, "Need help Lord", BANG it popped loose. I shared with him if He did it in front of him, that is how His training looks, and he should use that tool when Spirit prompts him, later he related he had used this and received miracles in his work as a vehicle glass replacement pro.

Good topic @Publican . I am very grateful for Miracles and have experienced many myself and i don't want to repeat them because i've said them elsewhere but now i ask God to give others Miracles, because for me i feel like He has made His presence to me pretty obvious.

I was in the midst of a long period of backsliding. Not praying or reading, just existing. Not making myself available or useful to Our Father in any way. I'm at work and I hear the Spirit say to me, pray for your son. I have two sons, but I knew which son he meant. I had no idea what to pray for, but I knew it was God. So I prayed for his safety, that God would spare him from death, until he saved him from hell.

And that was that, I went back to work. Two days later someone called me and asked if I had heard about Sean (my younger boy). Apparently he was jumped and beaten unconscious, had a ruptured spleen and almost died. When he got out of the hospital I asked him when all this happened. He told me around 11pm. I informed him that I was warned by God to pray for him at that exact time. He had no thoughts on it one way or the other. But I know what the Lord did that night. Still praying.

I thought it was a good one too Eli, but it doesn't seem to be taking off. I thought this thread would blow up with tons of wonderful testimonies and praises. Still hoping. But the few shares we've had have been great, really blessed by everyone's story so far.

Miracles are not very popular in Protestant circles but everyone has different preferences which bring one to God, shaped a bit by culture.
I personally love Miracles and is one of the main reasons which drew me to God and God has blessed me richly with Miracles.
All glory belongs to Him for giving us these Miracles.
