When my truck is in self-driving mode it yells at me if I turn my head to look at the mirrors.
I heard about an airline pilot complaining about airline regulations against deviating from computer projected courses, mostly to save the maximum amount of fuel.

"Soon every jet will have only two crew, a pilot and a dog. The pilot's job will be to feed the dog and the dog's job will be to bite the pilot if he touches the controls."

Given what you said, it seems we are right on course. Which is good. Heaven forbid we should be off course! That would totally ruin the computer projections.

A truck behind me in traffic got to close to some on coming farm equipment and it started pulling itself off the road with flashers going.

dude, your too young to be having tech issues!!!!
Not necessarily, I'm younger than that and I have tech issues.
My issues are different though. I just never took to cell phones. I have one that only has talk and text, and that is good enough for me. My 2 closest friends are more than a decade older than me (one is more than 2 decades older) and they are way better at cell phones than I am.

I love to drive, but when my vision went I became a universal hazard, so I do not drive. Actually I was barred from driving back in the nineties by law.
I have been given rides in new Mercedes and a new BMW here in Spain, and I kept my mouth shut about all the ding dongs in each car. One of them stops automatically . They "talk" to the driver and whoever else is in the car. Both have gps, and so much more. It seems I would not even be able to start one let alone operate one. So, I understand how anyone feels about new cars. My last car was a Renault 9? I think, four door two seats capacity 4 or five. That was all the high tech it had. Yeah, if I am going to have to be tekky, I will stick to learning about my cell phone and my PC.............
Here is that technical beauty that I last drove, very complicated.

I don't know why but that initial day that I started writing on here and you commented on my post, I knew I found a special place. I still get excited to read your posts because they are so original

That avatar is of a much younger me. :p

Your cat looks very at ease in her environment. It is readily apparent that she has nothing to worry about and considers herself secure.
She really is Lynx, cats aren't slavish like dogs, they KNOW they're our equals in ways that matter to them. Cats are actually more intelligent than dogs, much more as they have multitasking/skills brains like humans. We're told big brains are better but what really matters are the number/efficacy of network pathways connecting the neurons. Think you'd love the film Kedi [2016], it's lovely and shows how wild cats live in Istanbul, where they are very much loved for sure. Back in '16 they were welcomed even in restaurants, wonder if that's changed since '20. The subtitles are in Turkish but the video of Kedi on odysee is very watchable: https://odysee.com/@Ludmil:c/Kedi.2016.bg:4

Anyway, my little darling is 10 now and she's actually even more beautiful. She obviously has very recent Persian heritage, which is great for her looks but sucks for her health, heart and waterwork issues. Her quality of life is really good, she isn't obviously affected by her issues but probably will become so as she gets older. I'd do the right thing by her and during the summer, i shave her fur as it's so thick and long. There's a very slender, incredibly youthful looking li'l Princess under all that fur, she looks gorgeous and clearly feels good.

As you can probably tell, i love her to bits, she is really intelligent and a very strong character. I'll tell her you thought she's gorgeous :)

Using efficacy in a sentence...

Well your nickname certainly fits.

I'm 49 and have lost a little of my techie type abilities, though I was never duper knowledgeable to begin with.
But I do have a newer, 4 year old, car. I use the Bluetooth for my music on my smart phone. I can plug my phone into for GPS, which I need often.
It has warnings on the side mirrors if there's something you may run into, which I enjoy. Double safety. And for times when it's more difficult for me to turn my head to check.
Reverse camera, which comes in handy for me, used in combination with my side mirrors.
But there are some new tech things I'm not interested in.
Overall I'm not against using all new tech, just more picky about which I use now. And also not as interested in keeping up with it all. Other things I'd rather focus on.

What a beautiful furry purry!
Can't believe i forgot to reply to your post sweet friend, think she truly is beautiful and she has a fabulous personality too.

Also, you might want to pop in to my Spiritual Journey thread, Sean and Daisy have had a deep, thoughtful discussion there. Seems they've really been through some hard times, you might want to offer some verbal support too.

God's blessings, hugs from me and all that's good for now precious friend :)

My neighbor had a toy of his grandsons that I repaired a while ago. It was a little tractor that he rode around on and he is too big for it now but it cost 50 bucks so I was really happy to have fixed it so it got him by without his mom having to by another one so I beat China out of 50 bucks lol.

Of course the issue was the circuit board. It had lost control power that came out of the board to the on switch and pedals and such. It actually had a radio with a usb to play mp3s.

My solution? I wired the battery directly to the control out so it didn't have to travel through the board. Worked like a charm.

I also gypped China out of 5 more bucks because I fixed my wife's calculator she likes to use by soldering the wire back onto the solar panel.
