In my studies I have found the world is about 6000 years old. Anyone else studied time from Adam?????
Since you can neatly join Africa and South America together.

Also we know the continents are constantly moving.

That means the creation week was way longer than six days.

Not that a young earth or an old earth really matters in the scheme of things.

There is race created on six day, they are hunters. Genesis chapter 1. When Cain went to land of nob, he took Oriental for wife. He took race from six day as wife. In book of Job, he speaks of the Behemoth. These are dinosaurs. Clearly, earth is millions of years old. One palentalogist dated a dinosaur back to 700 million years.
I'm of the opinion that there was a creation prior to the world created for Adam and Eve. However, the claims of 100's of millions of years are not supported by evidence.

If the earth was that old, most of the land would have been washed into the sea. We see erosion happening right now. The action of waves, storms, tides and floods break up cliffs and land and it ends up in the ocean. Volcanoes will produce more material, but volcanic rock is distinctive.

It is more than possible that some creatures we call dinosaurs were on Noah's ark. If they were very young, they would not be the huge things we find in the fossil records. Many creatures have become extinct over the years. Why not dinosaurs? And some say that crocodiles and other creatures date back to the dinosaur age. So I reject the godless notion of an earth 4+ billion years old.

Genesis 10:25 is when the earth was divided.

Sir. Im seed planter. Not here to debate.

Greek lexicon #2602. katabole, foundation,
Greek lexicon # 5240. Over flow.
2 Peter chapter 3:5. For this they are willingly ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water.
3:6. Where by the world that was, being over flowed with water, perished. Sir, this isn't Noah's flood. This is world wide flood, the katabole, it happened before the 6 day race was created.
The dinosaurs became extinction from world wide flood. Archeology and palentalogist did give evidence of bones from dinosaurs dating back over 300 million years.
Lexicon Greek # 2626 . Kataklustheis in Greek means - being flooded.
Apoleto in Greek means - destroyed. # 622
Kosmos Greek means - world. # 2889
Udati in Greek means - water. #. 5204
The heathen don't believe in Gods word. They are ignorant of Gods word. Jeremiah chapter 4:20 . Destruction upon destruction is cried. For the whole land is spoiled suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
4:21. For my people are foolish, they have not known , they are sottish children, and they no understanding, they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
4:22. I beheld the earth, and lo, it was Void, and the heavens, and they had no light. 4:23. I beheld,c, and lo, there was no man, and all the bitds of the heaven fled.
Tohu in Hebrew means + Void, destruction. God destroyed the first earth age. Because of Satan rebellion. One third of God's children followed Satan in first earth age. Satan wanted to be Messiah. Ezekiel chapter 28, God sentence of Lucifer to turn into ashes from within. Lake of fire on judgement Day.
Revelation chapter 123 And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold a great dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his head.
Lucifer had a political system in the first earth age. He deceived one third of God's children to worship him. Lucifer wants to be Messiah, to be King.
12:4. And his tail drew third part of the stars of heaven. Instead of God destroying one third of his children, God sent the Katabole, world wide flood, it ended the first earth age. We're in second earth age, the flesh.
I went back to the original Hebrew and Greek texts. I documented it. Anyone who is Christian will discern sound doctrine. Again, the heathen are ignorant and won't understand. Im not going to debate or strive about this. I told the truth.
Not responding back. Peace.

No, not really.
Was it Adam created on the 6th day, or was it just mankind in general?
If it was Adam, why did God tell him to rule over the fish in the sea? I'm no geography expert, but as far as I know, there is no sea in that part of Turkey...
And why was mankind told to rule over all the animals in all the earth, and to be fruitful/multiply, and fill the earth, when Adam and Eve were placed in a rather small, localized area, in a garden?
Why does Genesis 1 say that God created male and female... when he obviously created Adam, then afterward decided to create Eve.
Really? That's some pretty flawed thinking off the jump. You think Turkey was the same, in the same spot in the same condition that it is today? Do you not factor in that there was a worldwide flood that completely changed and rearranged the whole world between then and now. This fact prevents us from truly having any clue what the world was like then. I'm not trying to discount what you're saying, but from the very start this premise is flawed. Also if Adam was made on the 6th day, doesn't that mean mankind was too? Also all men come from Adam and Eve, and after that Noah.

Hope you don't mind my suggesting you take a look a Creation.com video concerning the age of the dinosaurs, etc:

In addition, a full length movie, The Ark and the Darkness, provides some really awesome insight:

According to the Talmud there is 2,000 years of chaos, 2,000 years of law, 2,000 years of the Messiah, and a thousand years of shabbat.

I also believe that the sun revolves around the earth.

Something to consider. If an old earth were true then death would have existed prior to when the bible said it came into existence as this video reveals:

Gen 1:5b . . And there was evening and there was morning, a first Day.

There are two primary kinds of Days in the first chapter of Genesis. One is a
creation day and the other is a natural day. It's very important to keep those
two kinds of days distinctly separate in our thinking because they are as
unalike as sand and gravel.

Creation days are a bit problematic because there were no sunrises or
sunsets to be seen on Earth till the fourth day. And-- when you think about
it --a strict chronology of evening and morning defines overnight; viz:
darkness (Lev 24:2-4). In order to obtain a full 24-hour day, we'd have to
define creation's Days as a day and a night rather than an evening and a
morning.

In other words: the evenings and mornings relative to creation days aren't
solar events. So it's very likely the terms are merely index flags indicating
the beginnings and endings of unspecified periods.

Now, according to Gen 1:24-31, God created humans and all terra critters
on the sixth day; which has to include prehistoric creatures because on no
other day did God create beasts but the sixth.

However; the sciences of geology and paleontology, in combination with
radiometric dating, strongly suggest that prehistoric creatures preceded
humans by several million years. So then, in my estimation, the days of
creation should be taken to represent eras rather than 24-hour events.
That's not an unreasonable posit; for example:

"These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were
created, in the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven." (Gen 2:4)

The Hebrew word for "day" in that verse is the very same word for each of
the six days of God's creation labors. Since day in Gen 2:4 refers to a period
of time obviously much longer than a 24-hour calendar day; it defends the
suggestion that each of the six Days of creation were longer than 24 hours
apiece too. In other words: day is ambiguous and not all that easy to
interpret sometimes.

Anyway; this "day" thing has been a stone in the shoe for just about
everybody who takes Genesis seriously. It's typically assumed that the days
of creation consisted of twenty-four hours apiece; so Bible readers end up
stumped when trying to figure out how to cope with the 4.5 billion-year age
of the earth, and factor in the various eras, e.g. Triassic, Jurassic, Mesozoic,
Cenozoic, Cretaceous, etc, plus the ice ages and the mass extinction events.

NOTE: Galileo believed that science and religion are allies rather than
enemies-- two different languages telling the same story. He believed that
science and religion complement each other: science answers questions that
religion doesn't bother to answer, and religion answers questions that
science cannot answer.

For example: theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking understood pretty well
how the cosmos works; but could never scientifically explain why it should
exist at all. Well; in my estimation, the only possible answer to the "why" is
found in intelligent design; which is a religious explanation rather than
scientific. Religion's "why" is satisfactory for people of faith. No doubt deep
thinkers like Michio Kaku, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Michelle Thaller, and the late
Carl Sagan would prefer something a bit more empirical.

Palaeontologists date fossils by the rocks in which they are found, and the rocks by the fossils found in them. The circular reasoning completely undermines the validity of their dating system. They have no objective standard.

Unfortunately they are also taught fundamental geology that intentionally excludes God.

It does matter, because if creation did not happen in the six days that Scripture clearly says it does, then unbelievers are justified in rejecting the Bible as truth.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this!

I just finished watching it and I have to say, "Wow!" This was an incredible, amazing and fascinating presentation of the Flood, the dinosaurs, the Tower of Babel and new languages etc.

The movie actually revealed A LOT of facts that science books never mentioned!

I've learned from this movie that secular science has actually tried to bury any scientific discoveries that reveals God's evident hand whenever there are sudden changes that secular science can't explain with their evolutionary theory.

So after watching this movie, it solidifies for me that the earth truly is young, not millions of years old. And it is so fascinating when God proves His own existence on the physical earth by the things that are discovered which secular science can't explain.

Everyone, you all should watch this movie! It is breath-taking to see evidence of God's work from the book of Genesis in this movie! I rate this 11 stars out of 10! (I'm going to buy this movie at Amazon if it goes on sale or at Christmas time!)

Foremost, the coming of the Lord is first based on time. His coming being imminent is a false teaching. Lord always had a plan

Ummmm
Might need a "re-do" of those studies.

Go to a Levitical calendar and note the year. (5780-something)

Year one was the year the Israelites left Egypt after they had been there for roughly 400 years. And that's not accounting for Methuselah who lived to almost 1,000 years old before the flood.

Just saying that your math ain't exactly mathing right. There's an error somewhere in it. Not that you didn't try to put it together from scriptures correctly. But that the scripture accounts are Hebrew Poetry and some things are left out. They were once considered obvious information and therefore left out but here 5780+ years later they are not so obvious anymore.

So....if I were you.
I would start with today's Levitical Date and start from the Exodus and then count the years going backwards.

And be careful, Shem (Noah's son) outlives Abraham by 75 years?

Huh?

Not everything the jews believe is correct!

Masoretic text which was written around 900 AD says which all english bibles use say 430 years in Egypt but even they dont believe it saying 215 years.

Beginning of the year for Israel they celebrate in the 7th month when God told them to acknowledge the month of Passover as the first month.

List is quite endless

I have Shem outliving Abraham by 35 years

Masoretes were around long before 900 AD. They have been a sect of Judaism longer than that.

But even still....
There's obvious flaws within your timeline if the Jews were in Egypt only 250 some odd years.

Israel says the year5785 began in October 2024. Add 215 years to 5785 and we have 6000 years from creation.

Gen 1:9 . . And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered
together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

At this point, the Earth's surface likely resembled the topography of a billiard
ball so it would remain entirely flooded were it not reshaped.

"He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved. You
covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the
mountains. At your rebuke they fled; at the sound of your thunder they took
to flight. The mountains rose, the valleys sank down to the place that you
appointed for them. You set a boundary that they may not pass, so that they
might not again cover the earth." (Ps 104:5-9)

That passage is stunning; and clearly way ahead of its time. Mountains
rising, and valleys sinking speaks of magma pressure and tectonic plate
subduction-- powerful forces of nature that keep the Earth's surface in a
perpetual state of alteration.

Now, it's right about here that young-earth theorists have a problem
because it's obvious from physical evidence that much of the Earth's higher
elevations were inundated for a very long time before they were pushed up
to where they are now.

Take for example Mount Everest. Today its tippy top is something like
29,029 feet above sea level. The discovery of fossilized sea lilies near its
summit proves that the Himalayan land mass has not always been
mountainous; but at one time was the floor of an ancient sea bed. This is
confirmed by the "yellow band" below Everest's summit consisting of
limestone: a type of rock made from calcite sediments containing the
skeletal remains of countless trillions of organisms who lived, not on dry
land, rather, underwater in an ocean.
