Maybe going off on a rabbit trail like that and getting stuck in the weeds is a problem for you.
But don't speak for me. Thanks buddy.

And BTW, Chronister is a down to earth very humble person. And recently his health almost failed unto death.
Give the poor guy a break. And maybe even pray for him will you?

Did I mention that he is of very humble means financially? And he is not earning a penny for his strenuous efforts?
How can this be a rabbit trail? Paul made it the cornerstone of his letter to the Corinthian church, it was a cornerstone to the letter to the Philippians and a cornerstone of James epistle.

This is a major issue with most Christians.

As for his message I felt it completely unnecessary to be talking about his car, and how the seat warmer doesn't work, and particle board shelves, etc. Like I said, it was torture to listen to. My summary could be read in less than 2 minutes. I suppose a more detailed summary that includes his discussion of 2 Kings 1 and 2 Kings 6 could also be read in less than five minutes. I realize when people give sermons it is not simply teaching the word but includes personal stories and testimonies. The key to the message is the contrast between Abraham and Barnabas being sold out to the Lord and Ananias, Saphira, pretending to be sold out. I don't understand how talking about how many miles his car has fits into that. But if he had spent the last thirty minutes focusing on teaching the saints how to do a thorough and absolute consecration to the Lord, that would have certainly been a much better use of his time, in my opinion. You have your opinion, I have mine.

Also, you were the one who shared these links for us to watch. I watched and responded. You don't like my response so you call it going down a rabbit hole.

Look man......the fact is that YOU have NEVER understood the true meaning of Acts 4 & 5. Never.
And then you jump in and all of a sudden you are the expert? I call foul.

No one here on CC has EVER exposited these passages correctly.......
(though I know that @posthuman does know the facts of the matter as do I).

And then somebody finally does the heavy lifting (Chronister), figures it all out, produces 12 hours of lectures in good faith,
and all he gets for his trouble is brutal criticism from you.

Not nice man. Not nice. And you did not shed a tear nor bend your knee in prayer for this man in his terrible agonies (yes, terrible) and present time of trouble. Sad.

I said the message had insight. I did not disagree with any of his conclusions.

But the point of the message should be to help those listening to have a closer walk with the Lord.

What is the fruit of his ministry? I don't know, you are the only person I can look at. Your reference to him as the greatest bible scholar today and no one else comes close is to my mind cultic. It is what Paul called carnal in 1 Corinthians.

Also all of your references to him are filled with pride. I receive insight and revelation every day either from my own reading of the word or from someone else's teaching that I am listening to. If you don't then that is unfortunate, but the solution is not to isolate yourself to one man's teaching.

I watched the movie Amadeus about Mozart. The story is told from the point of view of another composer at the time. This man was the same age as Mozart and idolized him. But he also prayed to God to make him a great composer. Later Mozart comes to Vienna when he is the chief composer to the Emperor. He views Mozart at this time as a despicable person. He also becomes green with envy and does everything in his power to destroy Mozart railing against God why is God mocking him with this profligate person who is such a great composer. At the very end he pays Mozart to write a requiem with the plan to pawn it off as his own work once Mozart is dead. While doing this he works with Mozart to finish it (Mozart had the song in his head but was so sick he needed this composer to write it on paper). It was at that moment that I realized that God had answered his prayer. He sent Mozart to him to both help him learn how to be a great composer and also to show him not to idolize other men.

But it was too late, Mozart died and he called himself "the patron saint of the mediocre."

The video I watched of this man with the teaching that cv5 describes as the best bible scholar today had 307 views. I believe if he would cut the message down to 15 minutes with the last 5 minutes being an application on how those who are watching this message can apply it to their own life it would be 307,000 views. But my comments are seen as an attack.

Oh yes, the $$$ Benjamins $$$. Everybody is sceerd about a scarcity of those aren't they?

Well, the truth is that my rights and freedoms are of INESTIMABLE value, and are priceless.
When you have them, you have everything. When you do not, you have nothing.
In America we have always made choices that are good for our economy. We have to make our way through life on our own. That’s why the economy is so important. I get it, you’re from another country where maybe social welfare is more of a thing.

I believe you to be an honest man. I rarely agree with you, but I think your intentions are good. I can’t say the same thing about cv5.

Wonderful. So please kindly send this gentle soul an email thanking him for teaching you something you have never ever encountered. The startling TRUTH of Acts 4 & 5.

Because thats what a redeemed soul would do. Show appreciation and humble thanks to a pastor and elder who has committed his LIFE to understanding biblical truth and proclaiming it.

Your criticism however is frankly cringeworthy. So don't include that in your email. His health is still quite frail and he deserves better.

Thanks buddy.
Pastor Chronister needs encouragement at this point.
Let him know that his life's work has borne much fruit.
I am eternally in his debt.......and have told him as much personally.

Tears were shed and he was overjoyed. And we can praise God for that.

@TheCharlesDowns caught up with Montana’s Democrat Senator @jontester
and asked him if he would apologize to the people of Montana for hiring Judge Merchan’s daughter’s company “Authentic Campaigns” to manage his Senate Race.

Loren Merchan is getting rich off of “getting Trump”.

As I have exclusively reported, Tester has paid Loren Merchan and her company MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, per FEC filings.

President Trump is very popular in #Montana. Do you think the people of Montana would be happy to know that Senator Tester is in business with people who approve of rigging Trump’s trial? I don’t think so….

This is a question for any and all Trump/MAGA supporters. Is there any line he could cross that would cause you to stop supporting him? In other words, is your support for him unconditional? I'm just wondering if you've made up your mind to support him no matter what.
His general standing as an antichrist is enough for me to know not to have anything to do with him and to look for other voting options.

The Donald's followers are primarily those who have a long list of grievances they want rectified. These grievances usually take the form of other people whose behavior they don't like. Whether by locking them up, shipping them out or legislating them out of existence, they really don't care so long as the source of their grievances goes away and goes away fast. The only problem with an addiction to grievances is they never end; rectify one and five more will pop up to take its place. Maybe some grievances are justified; but basing your whole platform on pacifying grievances is a horrible way to conduct policy. Instead of focusing on retribution, it would be more productive to work on realistic solutions.

Donald is the complainer-in-chief. That's probably why he attracts a following of those who are just like him.
