Do not proffer your flesh into the jaws of the dragon.
Do not make peace with the beast's loathsome embrace and it's heart of horror.
But, instead, study it's fearsome nature - teeth gnashed, eyes entranced by self-indulgent hate, etched souls drooled from the gnaw.
And yet I feel no beast awaits me at my walk's darkest road.
The Lord has put me at edge of knowing and yet I am afraid that the wisdom will cause me to make a willing sacrifice into the jaws of the dragon.
