Found scripture: the context is about sexual immorality, that was the writing from Paul to the Corinthians as he shared what he knew in himself, about ut hid freedom given him
1 Cor 6:12
12 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
Living Bible 1 Cor 6:12
12 I can do anything I want to if Christ has not said no,[
a] but some of these things aren’t good for me. Even if I am allowed to do them, I’ll refuse to if I think they might get such a grip on me that I can’t easily stop when I want to.
that is the key to me seeing I can do all things, I am allowed, therefore I see to consider the cost if I do whatever I choose to do, and then see not to do or go ahead and do. That is the learning process, as long as I am not harming others in the process
I see I can do snowboarding, have a great time. I see to do it, I am freed to go ahead.
It ask like, I see others not good with me doing something, I see not to tell them about and not do it in front of those that get thier consciences harmed by my doing it. I get that part from Romans 14, the writing about food, is that good to eat and the other not?
Also in Romans 14 I get from Paul
New International Version- Romans 14:8-14
8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[
a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[
b]
12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.
