Managing worry/anxiety

Worry is a habit within our control and scripture tells us to avoid it.
Matthew 6:25- 34

Faith is consistently proving to be an important part of both the prevention and treatment of illness- including anxiety

When your faith is secure, you can be certain that your life is secure. Romans 15:13

God is infinate, and he sees things we can never see or know. God may not do what we want him to do when we want him to do it however this doesn't mean he can't be trusted.infinite, John 16:33
Deuteronomy 31:8. When we experience trouble, we tend to describe responsibility for this to God and use it as evidence he has forsaken us and we are all on. Instead, he invites us to remember that this world is under the dictatorship of the enemy who is seeking to still kill and destroy and Jesus has come so we can have life and have it to the full John 10:10

Satan does not want us to make progress whatsoever. Replace your worry thoughts with the truth of Matthew 6:25-27

The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith. The beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.

I agree with you to a point. When I was at the end of my major depression, God used the wonderful people at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health (Hospital) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to get me in touch with the great anger and anxiety in my unconscious mind. He also used the Bible's many passages to teach me a kind of prayer that isn't in our culture but is in the Bible--lamenting--by Job (chapter 10), David (73 of the 150 Psalms), and Jeremiah (Lamentations). So, I lamented for 8 1/2 months 3 or 4 times a week about my losses during the previous 43 years of my life. Then, God gave me the peace to accept those losses as part of his permissive will (Genesis 50:20). He has kept me in that peace (Philippians 4:6, 7) about those events but has allowed me to have more experiences to lament about and given me more peace. In my experience, that peace lasts as long as we keep focused on him in constant prayer.

God is upon al and "if he is with us, who can be against us". When we walk with God even when trouble comes (He has not promise us we will have no trouble, we still living in a fallen world) we can trust in him, turn to him and he give strength and piece.

Thanks Peacefulness. Each time I find myself anxious I just tell God about it and ask for the things I am hoping for if it's in his will. So many times i have reason to thank him when those things work out.
