Ok, I REALLY hate to be the one to point this out, but...

I need to point this out.

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking... @Snackersmom is showing just a LITTLE BIT too much enthusiams for whopping people here --don't you think??? Ever since she entered the thread, she's been whopping people right, left, center -- and anything in between.

I mean, I like an enthusiastic crowd as much as anyone, but I'm thinking, she either has a really, REALLY sensitive "Whopping Arm" -- or a lot of pent-up aggression that she's just kept hidden all this time behind insightful questions and compassionate posts. o_O

I admit, I did NOT see this coming!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we've all been:

The first time I saw her username, the story of Hansel & Gretel came to mind. We might have to shove her into an oven, just for preventative measure, I mean. Hmm, if she's small enough, it might be more convenient to put her a microwave?

Ok, now this is the part of the thread where it's taken a dangerous turn. o_O:eek::D

Instead of thinking about pillow fighting, my little immensely-and-easily-distracted-mind is now thinking about...

Shopping.

Must. Resist. Trying. To Find. Huggy Chicken.

In real life, I'm not too keen on real chickens (although some of them do have really pretty feathers,) but goodness.

Who needs a boyfriend when they have a life-size Huggy Chicken??!! 😍

Methinks I shall name him, "Cuddles"...
You're not kidding, I found these that you can put into a microwave! and someone just might have to orchestrate an intervention to keep me from getting every last one of them!

This little guy will look trippy when I swing it, and the internal battery pack will increase wallop-ocity. I'm calling dibs .

Does this come in any shade of purple?:giggle:
While certainly tasty looking, we do not recommend eating Wanda Watermelon!

As much as I love all these cutesy, adorable pillow designs, I think @Mem is on to something here.

We're going to have to include a few macho pillow designs in the mix, just so that our male contestants can retain their manly pride -- even if they get tarred and feathered! :D

However, NO man is going to want to have to admit, "Yeah, I was beaten out by a fluffy unicorn -- and a bunch of flowers covered in ruffles."

Therefore, I'm thinking we need to be attacking (er, gently floofing) any male contenders with the likes of these:

And I'm thinking this one is going to be especially popular:

I don't think any man will mind losing to a pillow that tells him to eat more bacon.

@Snackersmom is definitely tiny, though of good height. We might have to fold her a few times, but that could be part of the challenge. :D And, I'm thinking we might need to use a toaster oven -- just to make sure she's properly toasted all the way through. :)

Sometimes, nothing but a toaster oven will do!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

Yes, I am definitely distracted! 😍

Mem, you are my hero(ine) -- albeit, a dangerously influential one.

That little fox is just CALLING OUT TO ME... ARGH. (I'm apparently a sucker for pointed ears.)

But, but... just look at his little snout. He's just absolutely BECKONING me with soft lulls of, "Take me home -- I'll cuddle you and keep you warm!"

And seriously -- at my age, what more can a single woman ask for?! :D

Must. Somehow. Find the Power. To Resist. :(

Oh my goodness, is that supposed to be a pillow???

It looks so realistic, I'm pretty sure it's going to distract a lot of fighters who are trying to take a big bite out of it instead!

Reminded me of the times when The Flinstones served pterodactyl legs...

Ummmm.......I hate to steal the "Captain Pedantic" title from Jim Jimmers, but what mood does YOUR VERY OWN THREAD TITLE convey?

Welcome to the Official CC Pillow Fight Thread!

Am I completely off base here, or does the VERY TITLE IMPLY THAT THERE IS AN ACTUAL PILLOW FIGHT GOING ON in this thread AS WE SPEAK . Yet I appear to be the only one whoppin'. And I am taking heat for that action. While @Mem and @seoulsearch CASUALLY PLOT TO TOAST ME IN AN OVEN. @Mem was right, people really do only see Jesus in her, that's how she gets away with all this!

*Whops Mem for getting away with everything*

*Whops Seoulsearch for thinking that a pillow fight doesn't involve any pillow fighting*

Uh oh, I see our beloved @Snackersmom is giving reactions to posts...

*Seoulsearch knows she might be in trouble for pointing out that so far, Snackers has the best whopping skills in the thread.*

*Seoulsearch tries to appease her -- and avoid a good whopping -- by presenting her with a plethora of plumage as a peace offering.*

(Snackers loves birds, so maybe these will keep me from being whupped!)

1722715055971.jpeg

Is it working?! :p

Stay tuned for the next episode of, "To Whup, or Not to Whup!" to see if Seoulsearch gets conked... Or makes for a clean getaway!

*Seoulsearch hands Snackers The Official Time-Out Pillow -- and prepares for a good swift kick in the rear.*

OUCH!!!

I have reserved comment in this thread to see if there were actual pillow fight veterans in the mix. I am sadly disappointed. An actual pillow fight veteran would know that a pillow fight combatant would always have 2 pillows. The first would be large to shield oneself from other combatant's attacks. The other would be longer to strike your foe as you defend.
Perhaps it's just me, but I'm not sure there are many combatants with much actual pillow warfare experience.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it looks like @Cameron143 is a professional, experienced, and battle-scarred Pillow Fighting General here who is ready to lead us into victory!

I just happened to put in a search for "Pillow Fight Weapons"...

1722732956724.jpeg

This picture was fittinging captioned: "Bring Your Gun to a Pillow Fight!"

1722732921017.jpeg

And for those who are proud members of the Jedi Council, here's a pillow-fighting weapon even a Jedi would approve of:

Looks like some of us are going to have to up our Pillow Fighting Game!

(But... But... What if I don't want to give up my fluffy light-up unicorn...)

The giant chicken is a long-range pillow weapon and takes 2 hands to swing properly (holding it by the neck), leaving me without a shield option but I calculated that the best defense is a good offense. Also I'm the only one who has landed a whop so looks like defense is irrelevant.

*Whops Cameron for underestimating my tactics*

You are going to get picked last unfortunately. If the unicorn lights up we might be able to use it as a distraction.

There is a better strategy for you. Wear the chicken as body armor to get close and have another pillow to attack with.

Oh, you're offending, alright.

Left, right, center, diagonal...

Shoot.

Girl, you're whopping things in directions we have no longitude/latitude -i-nal descriptions for!

(After all, I still can't sit down from her whopping me in the rear with the foot pillow.) :(

NOT fair!!

That chicken is so adorable, I'm going to want to hug it.

And that means I'm going to let her get close enough to whop me a good one every. single. time.

I vote for a different strategy! (Let me have the chicken all to myself while @Snackersmom goes around whopping everybody.)
