But if you see the lynx go by, don't shoot him. He ain't hurting nothing.
Oh... He might LOOK like he's sleeping -- but in the back of his mind, he's stirring up trouble.

I'd be prepared to give him at least a light tasering, just in case.:geek::cool:

Hey Everyone,

The past several weeks, I've had a hard time finding a specific kind of lunch ham I prefer. Sure, they have it in almost any other animal variety (smoked or roasted chicken, beef, and about 5 variations of turkey,) but NO HAM. Now that I've found this certain one, I hate trying other kinds because: 1. lunch meat is expensive; 2. other brands are usually too greasy/knotty (perhaps even a bit naughty) for my particular tastes.

And seeing as the only way I can connive myself into eating a salad is by shredding a little ham into it, I am getting desperate (who am I kidding -- most of my appetite is actually rejoicing at having an excuse to not eat salads.)

I was beginning to think maybe there was another instance like in the Bible when Jesus had to command a legion of demons into a herd of pigs, who then promptly ran themselves into the lake (Mark 5:1-20.)

I tried to console myself by saying it's better to go without than be faced with a demon-possessed, bovine lunch -- but a friend told me there was apparently a problem with a listeria outbreak.

And now I can't even make myself a protein shake because... the particular brand of non-dairy milk I prefer is also out. BEH!!!

(In reality, I can find ways to compromise with such first-world problems just fine. But every now and then, it's fun to complain!)

How about all of you?

* What preferred items do you have a hard time finding?

* What means do you have to go to in order to get them? (Online ordering, going to a faraway store, special ordering, etc.?)

* Do you simply substitute something else for what you can't find? How did that go?

* Did you find a new favorite, or did it only make you more determined to find what you wanted in the first place?
From pigs I only eat bacon and pepperoni. It’s no real taste in pig meat.
