Hey Everyone,

It's been an exceptionally contemplative morning.

I've spent quite a bit of time talking with other believing friends about recent events, all while sipping on a large, "never-ending" mug of hot cocoa.

Being a little low on supplies, I used what I had on hand to mix up my drink: cold water, powdered milk, cocoa powder, and Splenda. A minute in the microwave, and voila!

But as the temperature has been rising with the day, I suddenly decided that with this latest refill that I wanted something cold -- then proceeded to toss in as many ice cubes as my mug could handle.

And I couldn't help but wonder...

Did I just make chocolate milk?!

What do you think?!

Choose as many answers as you like in the poll (just for fun, we'll make them visible,) and then come back and carry on the debate here in the thread!

What do YOU think happens when you put about 8 ice cubes into a mug of hot chocolate?

Just a little lighthearted fun in the midst of a day of prayer. ❤️🙏🥰🌹

Actual scene in a fast food restaurant:

CUSTOMER: Give me a medium coffee, and put three ice cubes in it, just to take the edge of the heat. I want to drink it fast and go.

waiting...

waiting...

waiting...

CUSTOMER: Where's the coffee?

CLERK: Hey where's his coffee?

OTHER CLERK: I'm trying, I'm trying! I keep trying to put three ice cubes in, but they keep melting!

Irrelevant to me. I can't drink any hot drinks. The heat messes up my stomach. And since cold chocolate milk (cows milk and chocolate syrup) tastes way better than hot chocolate, there's no reason to drink a watered down version.
Milk can also mess up my stomach, but chocolate milk is worth it, from time to time. Unlike water and powder. 😝

"What Happens If You Put Ice Cubes In Your Hot Cocoa?!"
You pour it down the sink and have a nice cup of coffee.

Methinks you made a yoohoo drink! 😆
WHAT did you just call me??!!!:mad::mad:

:LOL::geek::ROFL:
The funny thing is, my brain knew what you were talking about:

But my "temporary dyslexia" kicked in and read your post as saying "Yahoo" -- so, I was joking that you were calling me a "Yahoo", which according to Webster's is:

1. A member of a race of brutes in Swift's Gulliver's Travels who have the form and vices of humans.

2. A boorish, crash, or stupid person.

Well.. A lot of people here call me a Yankee -- I'm not sure which one is worse.:geek::p

Here's the Starbucks I was looking for.

Yeah, forget the coffee...

I had a huge crush on Apollo and Starbuck when I was a kid!!!

And I later tuned in every week to watch Dirk Benedict in The A-Team as well!

Excellent! 😄
That was one of my favorites. He was a good actor. Hopefully still doing well.

They don't make good wholesome TV shows like those anymore. (Not going to include the dumb remake I accidentally posted first. Yikes!)

And...

Glancing over the latest results in the poll, it's nice to see I'm not the only one who believes in chocolate cows. 😁🤓😎

It only makes sense when you see brown chickens laying brown eggs.
Of course brown cows would give chocolate milk.

I was curious about the origins of the name of Benedict's character.
I even wondered if the coffee shop took it's name from him....maybe Battlestar Galactica fans.
So, I asked a Cylon. They are called AIs these days.

"Starbuck name origin

The name “Starbucks” has a fascinating origin story that dates back to the 18th century. According to the company’s website, the founders of Starbucks, Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker, were inspired by Herman Melville’s novel “Moby-Dick”. Specifically, they were drawn to the character of Starbuck, the first mate of the whaleship Pequod, who was known for his quiet nature and moral goodness."
