back when i was young, not saved . i got really wasted on jim beam. as in sat in a lawn chair with my head down, and did and could not move for a few hours. so, no i do not.

i have had a few sips since then, so i don't hate it, but still do not appreciate it.
LOL, it’s tops two drinks and then you have a Lone Star beer.😂 (Even though European beer is better, but don’t tell anyone I said it).

You do realize that caffeine is hard drugs?
It is for me.

Three cups of coffee ☕ and I'll be up most of the night, sometimes for several nights.

This is why I never smoked, drank, or tried any stronger drugs.

I technically shouldn't even really have caffeine.

But hey, even a nerd 🤓 needs to have one vice. 😬☠️☕

Yes! It's the only psychotropic drug which is not a schedule four controlled substance.

Maybe in the future they will be wondering about our easy going with caffeine like we are when reading old commercials for cocaine and heroin?

If we're worried about what future generations will think of us, I think we got a LOT of other, bigger problems for them to look down on.

hey, Lynx, actually there are many psychopharmaceuticals that aren't controlled. psychoactive drugs are defined as anything that affects the central nervous system, in brief. i tell you this because i feel you're the kind of person who would want to know. :)

nicotine, anti-epileptics, antidepressants, even very common things like good old acetylsalicylic acid (aka aspirin) and other analgesics like the other NSAIDs (ibuprofen and naproxen sodium are a couple you can obtain without a prescription). oh, and alcohol, of course.

when i worked in a pharmacy, some docs would write a prescription for "ASA". the pharmacist knew it was for aspirin, and i guess the patient felt they were receiving better help? sneaky!
