First there was Paula White, now there's Robert Morris. This is the Robert Morris who preaches that if you don't tithe, you open yourself up to demonic influence. Trump just seems to attract people who think the normal rules of society don't apply to them. This is one of Trump's spiritual advisors; let that sink in.

Is there no bottom to how low Resident Alien will go?

For a guy that claims to not want to be sullied by politics, he sure is obsessed with politics!

Yeah it's crazy. The TDS has eaten him slap up. To the point he seems to deny the truth about this issue, while claiming to follow the truth in life. I don't even care about Trump or the hatred of his personality, I understand how hard it is even as a born again follower of Jesus our King, who teaches us to love our enemies, not to hate sometimes. I struggle every day not to hate Biden and almost every Democrat leader or spokesperson they put on TV to lie to us. I have a VERY hard time not hating them. These are the most wicked people I've ever seen, and my flesh wants to "do something about it", but then His Spirit starts to steer me back to His way, to trying to see these people as lost souls that cannot be expected to "be good", because I'm sure they think they are good and doing what's right.

What I do not understand is the Christian like RA up there so fully and consistently embracing lies and rejecting truth so consistently to seemingly embraces the enemies lies. There's a few here this way. They have TDS as bad as any of the pop left. It's embarrassing to read honestly.

In NO WAY am I excusing, condoning, trying to lesser what has happened here:

This woman, now 54, claims she told her parents when she was 17 and they did nothing. Robert Morris was a nobody then. Now he is a Pastor of over 100,000 members. Even over the years he has confessed this incident. He never went into full detail but behind the Pulpit has informed his congregation when he was in his 20s he had been inappropriate.

I have known about this confession, not the full details, just that he had made this confession several times over the years and professed to have repented for it. When you confess something many times it generally indicates you have repented of it and are using it to help other people confess their own sins and repent of them. But I am aware because I use his publishing company [biblegateway.org] to issue, purchase, gift several versions of the Bible they produce. The TLV is one of my favorites since I am Jewish.

This happened roughly 40 years ago.

The fact that this woman's own parents, back in the 1980s refused to press charges when Robert was a nobody makes me scratch my head and ask why? Why not then when he was a nobody but now when he is a mega-Pastor? Did her parents know something about her none of us do?

Anyway, this year alone a few well known Pastors have suddenly """stepped-down-resigned""" and appears to be giving Christianity a Black Eye in the general SATANIC public viewpoint. All throughout my Bible I read many People, including those found written in [the Hall of Faith] found in Chapter 11 of the Book of Hebrews who done stupid things when younger like David, Moses, so many others, even Rahab the Harlot and ended up being Great in God later on.

I have been guilty of doing stupid things when I was younger. Many of us are guilty of that. We've all Repented and grown to be better people for the Ministry of God and are able to use our past as a Testimony. Even Robert Morris was using his past as a Testimony to get others to Repent.

But the fact that it's 2024 and we're seeing this mass stepping down and resigning indicates a DEMONIC MOVEMENT and is searing the internal minds of those who oppose and reject God.

Almost "Sign of the Times" like. Right before Tribulation.

I pray that even for those, who call themselves Christian. Who abuse their abilities to use information like this to capitalize on destroying the views of real People of God. Those People of God who have admitted wrong and Repented, but now being attacked because Society is now designed where it can be most effective. That those Christians be STRUCK DOWN by God! Gossip is as EQUAL of a SIN as MURDER. Because it is MURDER by mouth or written format.

Why does Trump need a spiritual advisor?

Oh right, of course .. votes.

He should have had a better vetting process.

Some are self-appointed and not appointed by God.

Churchianity has always been a useful cover for evil.
I am a member of the church but I am also a "freemason" (as one example) been going on since before the first lodge was ever erected.

This is not a stupid thing this is an alleged crime.

Sorry I disagree, his testimony is not effective nor trustworthy unless he paid his debt to society.

You say you're in no way trying to lessen what happened here, but that's exactly what you do.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for Morris, nor do I see the calling of so-called Christian leaders to account as "satanic." What I see as satanic are all the shadow lurkers hiding behind the cloak of Christian ministry. You seem to think the very fact of calling them out is satanic; man, talk about having it completely backward. I'll tell you who sympathize with are the victims, not the perpetrators.

I don't believe I ever claimed he was "innocent." I believe I claimed he had openly admitted on several occasions which the [Woman] was not even talking then. So he was telling on himself before She ever got involved. I think he felt guilty by what he did and he confessed it. I think he also repented of it. That's all I actually said.

You are a Gossiper.
You definitely are no one that I have researched from your posts as someone who commands the Authority you believe that you hold to hold anyone accountable for any action.
You are a legend in your own mind.

Yes that is all you actually stated, agree, I am adding my perspective, I consider it serious enough that if he confessed he should have left the position of authority.

He should have turned himself in to the authorities as well.
Those are my thoughts.

Why is he a gossiper?

I see nothing wrong with revealing information about a public figures, a public figure should know their life is going to come under public scrutiny and rightly so especially a leader of a church.

The issue I find appalling is in 27 States there's not a set age of marriage. There's an assumed age of marriage and in many of those States the parents have been known to sign off wavers to allow their underaged teenage daughters to marry older men. One of the most famous known cases Jerry Lee Lewis. His wife was age 13. So what I may find to be disturbing there are actual Laws allowing such things when Parents consent.

We are talking in the 1980s. Maybe no one thought of it the way they did back then but Society is now different so it has become an issue. Who knows? But this happened in Oklahoma and weird things are allowed all of the time in those parts of the Nation.

Maybe he felt guilty because of today's more modern Society? Maybe then it would be a normal thing? I was a high schooler in the late 1980s and no one spoke about things like "Statutory Rape" as you hear commonly today. Things have definitely changed.

Maybe not in this type of situation, but do we hold people accountable for things that were once allowed when they done it but now it isn't?

I read like 10 pages of posts, not anywhere close to all he's posted, but there's a common pattern he certainly adheres to. Generally anyone who is opposite of his personal doctrine seems to be fair game. Even his first post he attacked Robert more so over his tithe/giving message. That's pretty specific. I would bet in Threads about tithing he's involved and opposed.

This is the first time I am hearing about Robert Morris and his shenanigans. The only media reporting on him (from a Google search) are the MSM.

But I did check Faith Wire, and they confirmed what you are saying. But they do not even have any information on themselves, and the man who wrote the article -- Billy Hallowell -- cannot be checked out either. But he did quote a letter from the elders of Gateway Church, which claims that they had no idea about what Robert Morris had been doing. In the meantime they had been defending him until he resigned.

What bothers me is the Donald Trump has no wisdom or discernment, for a man who was once president of the USA. All his choices for personnel and appointees have been generally very bad. In fact detrimental to him.

And it looks like he has never had one single person who could advise him properly. Or perhaps the ones who did give him sound advice were fired.

Now he is seeking the support of millions of Americans, but he has not learned any lessons from his mistakes. He should have had a top-notch legal to defend him in all these lawsuits, but I have never seen the whole team assembled, and the few who are reported on seem to do a third-rate job for him.

I am not sure this is "gossip". RA has been focused on reporting on false teachers, etc. I did tell him long ago to forget it. People need to discern for themselves who are true teachers and who are not. Our focus should simply be on Scripture.

if trump does not do a better job of picking his advisors, then yes his 2nd term will be sabotaged from within, as was his 1st...

Is it true this happened 40 years ago? If so and he has truly repented, what's the problem? What were you like 40 years ago? Would you have gotten rid of Moses because he was a murderer? Kicked David out of office for his adultery and murder? Picked up stones and stoned the woman caught in adultery? Better hope your sins don't find you out.

This is recent, in June, 2024 from what I saw.

From the NY Times June 18, 2024
By Orlando Mayorquín
Published June 18, 2024Updated June 20, 2024
Robert Morris, the founder of a Texas megachurch and a faith adviser to the Trump White House, has resigned from his job as its senior pastor, the church said on Tuesday, days after he was accused of sexually abusing a child in the 1980s.
