Sigh. So many animals have been taken off of my To Eat list in recent days. What about shark? That's the only water bearing animal I am still willing to try. Please tell me it is actually good and doesn't taste like fish!?!!
I’m just glad shark hasn’t got a chance to taste me.

I do like fish in general, but didn't love the shark.

I was just talking about the booze. It’s a gator free event. No other foods will be available either lol.
I'm so sorry Susanna, but I'm a total lightweight.

Can I at least get a bottled water?!

To be honest gators don’t taste good and I have only tried it once. Never again. I’ll stick to real food that hasn’t been eating other animals or people.

Not even a Lone Star beer?
Poor Susanna -- I feel like a total failure!!:ROFL:

I'm just not a drinker. I really don't like the taste of most alcohol unless it's a flavoring and very watered down, or used in a recipe.

And I've never been officially tested, but I think I'm allergic -- I can have a little bit but a full glass would set my face on fire, make my heart was about to pound right out of my chest, and I'd probably hurl on your brand-new boots.

I have similar reactions to caffeine, though not as severe, but I have yet to break my morning coffee habit.

I've read that a lot of Asians are lacking an enzyme that breaks down alcohol, and that's exactly how it feels -- like it's constantly circulating in my system and I can't get rid of it.

Unfortunately, there are reasons why I always say I'm a boring nerd!:D:geek:

No sister, there’s a lot people who don’t ever drink around here. My mother has never touched alcohol. So you would not stick out at all.
Then I say, "Bring on the party!"

It'll be a BYOB -- Bring Your Own Beverage -- and we're going to have a Grand Ol' Time!!! :p

P.S. Do you square dance?

I don't but am wondering if they square dance at parties in Texas! :D

I think it’s mostly two-step dancing at parties outside of the cities. In the city, at least here in Houston, it’s just noisy stuff they for some reason call music.

My oh my! I’m getting old!!!!! 😵‍💫

I had a teaparty at my 50 years anniversary. It was a great success. Wonderful scones, and a good tea menu. I will take you there, who ever will come to visit :)
I'm down with those scones for sure. Like a little lemon and honey with my tea. Unfortunately, it has been years since my last cup. One day my lemon went bad and haven't had any tea since. Of course, I could have bought another lemon but I took a nap instead.

This is going to be the Finest Tea Party The World Has Ever Seen!

Why, there'll be tea, scones, finger sandwiches, Jim Beam, shark, rattle snake, and two-step dancin'! :D

Hope everyone can make it!
