I am the Ugly Ducking.
I am the child in "Room."
I am imprisoned behind a 6" tall fence, by a Lilliputian official with an ego the size of King Kong.
And the worst part is that I let him. That I don't know that I can escape-Just lift my leg a little higher and walk free. Just put in a little effort and my enemy won't have a hold on me.
But without Jesus, I am stuck. Without Jesus I don't even recognize my prison, let alone how to escape.
But with Jesus, this captive goes free.
