Has anyone else watched any old kungfu theater movies? This is a more modern one.
One of the best was Jackie Chan. He was in one of the Chinese operas in his youth and studied acrobatics. He brought that into his Kung Fu style and movies. This is Donnie Yen I think. If anyone is interested, I'll post some others.

Haven't seen it is nature but I have heard of pen turners drying pen blanks in a microwave oven and catching the blank on fire from the inside.

I have never heard of that. Wow
The closest to that is back when the magnetic strips were first added to US currency. People would stick them in microwaves to neutralize the supposed tracking ability. It would burn them a little. Those blanks must've got plenty hot.

Those rivers they crossed were amazing.
I never saw anything like that.
Beautiful scenery everywhere. We don't get much photography from that part of the world.
They had some major sponsorship to take that kayaking trip.

For all their extreme sports videos, I still never drank a Red Bull in my life though.

I bet that is some pure water though
I would drink it before tap water.
Even then, it's surprising that there have been a bunch of chemicals found in samples from glaciers. Here's a couple paragraphs about fluoride compounds.
My friend worked at an aluminum plant for years. He said that they had a chimney that they'd open to release fluoride gasses out into the air. Countries like China and India are even worse about that.

"Toxic chemicals found at antarctica

Toxic chemicals have been found in Antarctica, specifically fluorinated forever chemicals, also known as PFASs (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). These chemicals are used in various industrial products, such as non-stick cookware, food packaging, and clothing. They can harm wildlife and humans if ingested or inhaled.
Research suggests that these chemicals are reaching Antarctica through the release of volatile precursors into the atmosphere at industrial manufacturing sites. These precursors waft in the global atmosphere until they eventually degrade in the presence of sunlight to form the more persistent PFASs.
Studies have found that PFASs have increased markedly in the remote environment of Antarctica in recent decades. For example, a study published in 2022 found that seven out of nine snow samples taken on land in Antarctica contained PFASs. Another study published in 2024 found that levels of PFASs in Antarctica have been increasing, with scientists believing that CFC-replacements could be among the likely sources."

For me extreme sport is going to bed every night. And, if some of you wondered, not a sexual way. I think extreme sport is a selfish quest for an adrenaline rush. You put your own life at risk and possibly others. You also use vast resources on this short lived rush, and even more if something goes wrong. We should use our lives to serve God and each other, not to waste it on foolish risk taking.
