Awww, I’m so sorry, English is not my first language so what I meant to say is that I have no knowledge of the law.
Ok. So Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records.
A couple of problems with the charges:
1. The statute of limitations had run out
2. Agreeing to NDA's...Nondisclosure Agreements...are not actually illegal
3. Classifying legal expenses as legal expenses isn't illegal

Hold everything, you aren't taking into account the special circumstances. We have an election, Trump is leading in the polls, and he is threatening to not be a deep state puppet. So even if this conviction is overturned on appeal it will probably be after the election, hence the trial can serve its purpose even if the conviction doesn't stick. As long as he is a convicted felon for the trial that appears to be the primary goal.

While all that you say is true, I was only dealing with the legal aspects of the prosecution, and not the political.

Sloppy but useful....and really just a trivial treatment of the whole of the debacle.

If you bother to get into the weeds of this trial it’s very disturbing how it was run. The defence didn’t actually find out the specific felony charges until closing arguments!

I was today’s year old when I found out Hilary Clinton was given a $8000 fine by the FEC for doing EXACTLY what Trump did, when she cooked up the phony Russian collusion dossier.

“The FEC concluded that the Clinton campaign and DNC misreported the money that funded the dossier, masking it as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting” instead of opposition research.”

https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/30/politics/clinton-dnc-steele-dossier-fusion-gps/index.html

Mis reporting election expenses is a misdemeanor, not a felon. The FEC dropped their investigation of the Stormy payments.

Yet the Judge allowed the prosecution to link those payments to some unspecified Federal crime. They took a misdemeanor at best that would result in a fine if found guilty and was long past the statute of limitations to prosecute and turned it into a felony via unnamed charges. The judge then told the jury they don’t have to agree on those unnamed charges to convict.

What twisted legalese.

Also….

” the court allowed the jury to be told repeatedly that there were federal campaign violations committed by Trump. That is not true. Putting aside that the federal government found no basis to impose a civil fine, let alone bring a criminal charge, the court barred a legal expert who could have shown that no such violation occurred. The jury does not know that. Instead, the judge allowed them to be repeatedly told a false fact that could make it difficult for anyone to acquit.”

Former Acting Associate Attorney General Matthew Colangelo was the No. 3 DOJ Prosecutor under Biden, a very senior and distinguished position This is someone with frequent direct contact with AG Merrick Garland When Alvin Bragg had trouble prosecuting Trump with a grand jury, Matthew was hired in December of 2022 In the legal world, it would be a massive demotion to go from the #3 guy at DOJ down to a city prosecutor’s office Just weeks after his hire, Trump was indicted on 34 felony counts Matthew Colangelo did his job - he got Trump…and he even helped prosecute him in the trial! Does anyone in their right mind think this wasn’t coordinated from the top? Of course it was And we’ll be proven right in the end

If Trump didn't want to be judged by a jury of his peers in Manhattan, he shouldn't have committed crimes there. It's always everyone else's fault but his own.

That the burden of proof is on the prosecution to begin with.
per the jury that Trump selected and approved, the prosecution proved their case beyond a shadow of a doubt.

he is a liar and an unremorseful, convicted felon.

these are simply the facts.

he should not have been sleeping with porn stars while his wife was pregnant, and instead of trying to cover up and deny his sin, he should confess it and repent.

Which fortunately does not get the final word.
that Trump selected and approved,
That's some awkward phrasing to describe the selection process; but it also sounds like a mantra that the MSM would put out the way you are repeating it. Repeatedly. With repetition. In a repetitive manner.

Do you actually receive her testimony that this happened?

To vote Democrat one has to be ignorant or evil. There is no other possibility.
Dr. Phil outlines perfectly what is crystal clear to every impartial person. This is not, nor ever has been, about Donald Trump. It is about weaponizing various federal and state agencies against political opponents.

Ignorance, and indoctrination in Public schools is a big part of this.

I thought TDS was something that only happened to certain types of people, apparently not. :(

It is "beyond a reasonable doubt" a legal term with a specific legal meaning.

Trump is a liar and a felon.

When the case is appealed and it goes to an appeals court and the case is overturned based on a judicial error and he is found not guilty he will no longer be a liar and a felon.

See how that works?

Lol true. I still find it hard to take politics seriously. Probably never will to be honest.

John F. Kennedy having been shot in broad daylight and even after 50 years the documents have not been declassified I think there is cause to take it seriously.

Meh. Last time I checked, JFK wasn't in the Bible. Normal people die and are murdered every day. He was just another one. Biblical events I will care about, but not the presidential elections.
