Your thoughts on the great "I AM"

Revelation 1:18

Do you really believe that Jesus spoke with Abraham? Spoke with the OT prophets as the Word of God? Was the burning bush that spoke to Moses? That all things were created thru Him?

It is the terrestrial verse celestial.. flesh verse spirit mentality.

The Lord is often teaching this.. The bread of life for the Hebrew was manna bread in the Old Testament ..

The Lord teaches us His word is our bread of life.. We believe.. we Have Faith.. that the Lord’s New Testament Saves us from our sins.




John 6

31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 4:23

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.


Back to the I am….. Father and Son are One.. When the Lord spoke they did not recognise GOD. Those of us that Believe know the Father and Son.

There is too much in Scripture regarding this. And it all applies to Christ. He has many names and designations and titles. Because He is worthy.

This statement is what separated Jesus from every prophet that came before Him or would come after Him, because with this statement, He claimed to be God. No man, prophet or spiritual guru ever claimed to be God.

Then how is it that you fail to understand what Jesus said: Only the Father knows

I agree the Lord has many names

There are no exceptions to these titles

Matthew 3:11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

When you baptize someone in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you are essentially baptizing them in the name of Yeshua (Jesus)

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

I AM that I AM is God’s sacred name—YHVH.

Jesus is the Eternal Word of God, the start and finish. Our life is in Him:

Revelation 22:13-16

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the [a]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

14 Blessed are those who [b]do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 [c]But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

Jesus is both man ("the Root and Offspring of David") and the great I AM ("the Bright and Morning Star").
