To show my respect for a fellow, I addressed a chef as "ma'am" and apparently, although there was no significant reaction at the time, he must've taken it to heart and didn't forget it, even after some time had passed. Recently, he returned his regard by calling me "sir" and had waited long enough to do so that I almost forgot it had been only an in-kind gesture.
The poor lad apparently never forgot his wounded pride lol.

This brings up something I have been wondering about though... I mean, why can't the gender identity trend work both ways?

But to get back to topic... I go out with an entourage of stealthy secret service that whisks me away whenever they notice someone coming toward me with 'that look.'

Can you guess whose face this is? .:geek:

Beatitudes
:)
I have no idea who that is but I feel like it's a trick question and the person isn't even real. Or worse, it used to be a picture of a cat and you somehow turned it human. Why is my mind going to such insane places?!?

That is Marilyn Monroe's face. The dress had no body in it, so I had to add the arms, and
probably everything from the dress up to her chin. Of course I sported her with a pink wig.
Everything else in the panel was also digitally collaged in... I don't mean AI like so much now.
I haven't done any collecting of items to use for a while, but starting from about a year or so
ago maybe? So much AI generated art was becoming available. I work in photoshop. I actually
started not minding the AI stuff not so much because they were large files and I could change
them as I do anyways or just raid them for their features, like the eyes or shoulders or whatever.

I reserve my right to assume it's actually a cat in disguise until said person can corroborate your story.

That's impressive to be able to do that to be honest. I have a very strange relationship with technology so I have no idea how that's even done. Give me wires and everything makes sense, but anything else I just consider to be modern sorcery lol. I used to go inside to pay for my gas instead of use the card reader at the pump because it made no sense. I now completely understand why my parents and grandparents were always confused by technology.

There is one of Emma Stone as my
model
A lot of artists use her face as a template. I'm not artistic, so I guess I just don't get it.

although I gave her a new body,
She needs one, poor thing.

and maybe even changed her hair
Definitely new hair.

A couple of times I have also made requests of female members here to use their face, and they graciously
acquiesced.
Wow. I did not know we had SO MANY angels on this site!

Here is an example:
And an absolutely stunning one it is!

and obviously that is not her body
Oh darn, I thought all the women in this community had wings. ;)

The one you sent me before this post that said, "You're Welcome, God bless You" was especially stunning. :)

Taylor Swift? She's the only celeb under 50 I know about :ROFL:
I think I used Taylor's hair in one recently... but no, as I said, that is Marilyn Monroe's face.

She may have passed from this world before you were born...

I have also used Joni Mitchell's face, Nicole Kidman's face, Emmylou Harris' face, to name a few...

and a plethora of unknowns. Many started out as files someone had already altered with various filters
and then I change them even more, but I began gravitating more to more realistic faces as time went on.

Oh! Kristen Stewart's shoulders figure prominently in a couple LOL

Oh duh! Now I see it!

That's what threw me off!

Very creative, for sure! And kinda geeky, which is cool. Means you have mucho intelligence!

I did this one around Christmas to show @SilverFox7 some of my process in updating an older one.

 So what you're saying is technology is definitely sorcery? lol

That's way too complicated for my ant brain to even try to figure out.

It is no more sorcery than taking a paint brush, dipping it in various colours, and making a painting.

It is true that some are not so inclined, and others could not even if their life depended upon it.

Surely they have other things of value/worth to offer? I only use a few of the tools photoshop provides.

But it is enough for me to do as I can. I learned remedial skills at work, where my job is as a photo printer,
colour corrector and quality control of almost every digital file we receive before it is sent to the printing
machine.
I also do film and slide scanning, correcting every image before it is burned to the hard drive.
People hardly know how to shoot film any more...

Thank you! I had a different you're welcome for a while, but as I continued designing panels
my ability and style changed over time. Plus, as I continued to collect various bits and pieces
to use, I then had more to select from to add to my panels. Finding facial features was hardest...

You are welcome!
:)

This one has Taylor Swift's bangs.

Matthew 5:4 plus Psalm 147:3
:)

I started with this face:

1716864991492.png

Added/overlaid and blended in these eyes:

1716865122796.png

Changed the irises = swapped out from the eye below, and then adjusted the colour so they were green:

1716865466195.png

All on this background, which I inverted (made the colours the opposite of how they were originally):

1716865315455.png

I added a frame and then added beads to the frame as well as enhancing filters.

The font is a whole 'nother story. I have added hundreds to choose from, and enhance it to make it stand out more.

Green is the predominant colour because I designed this for @Karlon
after his sister in law passed away, and green is his favourite colour.
I also added leaves because 1) they are green and 2) Karlon is a landscaper
.:)
Plus green clothing on the woman...

So thoughtful and creative, indeed. :)
