Need explanation for a verse in Luke

Luke 11 verses 24- 26.

I could do with clarification please. Does this mean a man cleansed of an evil spirit is actually more at risk of much worse?

sort of, I think it points out the risk of letting oneself slip and backslide, the relapse can be harder to get away from and those that do wreck themselves in new ways. I don't think a cleansed person is at more risk per say if he manages to stay on the path of righteosness.

These verses emphasized the importance of believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and being saved, once a person is cleansed of demons. Otherwise he will be subject to more demonic possession. This was primarily to address this: But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. This was pure unbelief and blasphemy, since they were accusing Christ of being subject to Satan, and working for and with Satan.

I agree with this synopsis I found

These verses from Luke 11:24-26 highlight the consequences of a person being freed from an impure spirit but failing to fill their life with the presence of God. It warns that if we remove evil from our lives but do not replace it with righteousness, we become vulnerable to even greater evil.

I am also reminded of the "dog returning to his own vomit" given that the man had the unclean spirit removed and did nothing to replace it with Jesus or His Gospel. Rather, he returned to his own house where the evil spirit found him in the first place. (IMO)
