We pride ourselves on posting and discussing alternative Citizen Journalists/Christian Patriot Truthers who have been forced to report their NEWS from alternative outlets and forums as a result of being CENSORED and/or CONCELLED from main stream forums and social media outlets... As a result the vast majority of information that you will see here HAS NOT been REPORTED on via these MAIN STREAM outlets - which is a GROSS VIOLATION of everyone's Constitutional Freedoms of Speech...

“Convention of States is the ONLY constitutional way to get our country back. And it will get it back in fundamental ways. We will use the constitution to save the constitution…”

There’s a reason nearly every conservative political commentator is an endorser of Convention of States.
They’ve spent their lifetimes closely tracking politics. They’ve watched administrations come and go, congressman after congressman promise change… and then fail.
After watching the same cycle repeat itself over and over, these men and women are realizing that Article V is the only solution that will truly make a lasting impact.
And they’re using their megaphones to make sure every liberty loving American knows that COS is the ONLY solution.

George Soros is on a warpath against Convention of States.
We’re now over halfway to the benchmark to call an Article V convention, and the closer we get, the stronger the opposition becomes.
Just recently, we got word that Common Cause sent out yet another fundraising email to rally opposition to our efforts.
In their own words…
“Common Cause is sounding the alarm far and wide – bringing this dangerous event into the eyes of the public, and using grassroots power to stop it.”
But they’re not just “sounding the alarm”, they’re sending lobbyists into the state legislatures to counter our efforts and they are spreading dangerous lies to foster fear in the hearts of the American people.
They want the grassroots to reject the Constitution and view Article V as a “secret and sinister plot” that will “gut the First Amendment.”
But there’s clearly nothing secret about what we’re doing. So why are they REALLY afraid? Because when we succeed in getting 34 states to pass our legislation, a convention will be called where the states can propose amendments to…
++ Get the federal government out of our healthcare system.

Funny, when you look into the "convention of states foundation" you run into a lot of badly written and obviously paid-for articles about how pushes for an article V convention is like a malicious back-door white supremacist conspiracy... :rolleyes:.

It was literally put in there for states to bypass congress when congress has become too retardedly high on their power... which has obviously come to pass. The founding fathers; they all knew human nature/power dynamics to the core; and they didn't Bs about it at all. People would hate them if they were alive today. Actually, people DO hate them even though they are not... but they knew exactly what they were doing when they put that in the Constitution.

I suggest that even if Congress refused to "call a convention" as directed by the constitution, that the states could still hold the convention apart from the "call of congress", and propose and ratify amendments as they see fit without the assistance of congress.

It's just much better if congress supports the convention; first of all, because they should honor the constitutional authority to begin with, and secondly; because they have nice resources specifically prepared for the purposes of legislation- like the Capitol Building, and parliamentarians, and other staff, and everything is right there in DC... But nothing in Article V would suggest that the states actually need the approval or support of Congress for their convention, or the resulting amendments and ratifications to be legitimate.
