You did not get this: US Can Not Stop Iranian Missiles 04/19/2024

Let's reconsider Iran's attack. The US went through $1 billion dollars in missiles shooting down old weapons inventory that Iran had. Rather than throw it away they tossed it at Israel and Israel, the US, and Britain shot weapons costing 1,000x more at each one.

However, 7 missiles were also shot, these were the top of the line Iranian weapons and they all got through and they all did potent damage.

So then Iran sent a message, we have weapons you cannot shoot down and at the same time they sent a second message saying "your iron dome can be defeated with cheap weapons because you will go broke trying to defend yourself".
consider the Ukraine war, as a result the west has depleted their weapons stockpiles while Russia has increased their production of weapons so that they now are the number 1 weapons producer by a large margin. Apparently Russia is manufacturing more weapons than all the countries in the West combined.

So he says that this attack demonstrated that the Iranian air defense is weak, that Israel can enter whenever they wish and also the attack was on the air defense so that if they have to come back again the next time it will be even easier for them to strike the nuclear targets.

However, I think he is somewhat delusional. He seems to think that this will "deescalate" the situation so that Israel can finish the job with Gaza. I suspect that one reason Iran will be fighting Israel is to keep them from finishing the job with Gaza, likewise with Hezbollah. Also, Iran has said so much about responding within seconds the next time that it seems hard to believe this will deescalate. Israel said that "if we don't respond we'll be viewed as weak in the ME and that will invite more attacks". Doesn't that also apply to Iran? They have 3 proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen) and they are using Syria as a staging ground. How will their proxies view Iran if they don't respond?

Also what was the message? If you retaliate we'll take out your nuclear capability! Those places are very expensive, not only in money and assets but in time. Imagine a bunker buster hits a stockpile of nuclear material. The entire area is now radioactive and you can't go near it. You have to start from scratch again which can take another 40 years.

So if you are Iran and you know you must retaliate and when you do you will see this big loss on your side, doesn't that indicate that the retaliation will have to be very big and an attempt to wipe out Israel's ability to take out the nuclear sites?

WW3: Iran Vows ‘Maximum’ Response to Israeli Attacks
https://www.dailyfetched.com/ww3-iran-vows-maximum-response-to-israeli-attacks/

There is a wide range of interpretations to what is going on from "these attacks are performative" to these attacks are both very strategic and very effective.

IMO we should not be deceived, Israel and Iran are enemies seeking to destroy one another. Iran has said this repeatedly and they support terrorism and they are working with Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen. Not only are those attacks real, but if their response with Israel is performative it could cause the terrorists they are allied with to become their enemies.

So then, why is this "war" so bizarre? To me this is like two heavy weight fighters feeling each other out. Iran knows that Israel can do devastating destruction to them and also has great defense. So it threw a whole bunch of old bombs at them to get them to waste billions of dollars of missiles in shooting them down. That is like a fighter tiring out his opponent before getting close enough to him to where he could throw a knock out punch. But despite Israel blocking 293 bombs, 7 got through and they were powerful and demonstrated that Israel cannot stop the best weapons that Iran has.

With Israel they are very low key, don't say anything, so much so it is hard to realize they even landed any blows. But Iran taking a day and then saying they would respond with a maximum attack tells you that Israel really did do some significant damage. I think Israel is acting like this because they don't want to provoke a public outcry, but they definitely want to fight Iran now before they have nuclear bombs.

Common sense would tell you that if Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen are the proxies for Israel that Iran really is all in for this war with Israel. However, their hand was forced because they thought Israel would sacrifice the Red Heifer, that is what prompted this October 7 attack.

However, common sense would also tell you that Israel has provoked this war with Iran, most likely because they are concerned that Iran is about to get a nuclear bomb. So although Iran wants war with Israel they aren't ready just yet. So both the October 7 and the April 1 attacks were forced onto Iran before they were ready.

So Israel knows they will have a war with Iran and they want the war before Iran gets a nuclear bomb. However, Israel is concerned about the UN and public perception, so they are trying very hard to not appear to be the aggressor.

If we assume this is the mindset of the two now let's look at the events. Israel does this attack on the Embassy compound. You can argue about whether or not you can have a consulate on the same land as an embassy, or whether it should simply be viewed as a military base. The point is they knew it would provoke a response from Iran and sure enough it came from Iran itself and not their proxy. However, Iran stalled for 12 days. Israel also claims they will wait till after Passover, and yet attacks before. Iran's attack looks huge in many ways but in reality was small and surgical. Israel's seems quiet and minor but in reality is probably very significant hitting key strategic secret military targets.

Iran had threatened to retaliate in seconds but now is giving a very different response. Everyone is doing the opposite of what they say.

So then let's consider the objective. In Iran's attack it seems the objective was two fold. First let Israel know that they cannot shoot down Iran's best missiles and second, to tell Israel that we can counter your million dollar missiles of the Iron dome with thousand dollar bombs from drones. You can shoot down 293 of our missiles but it will cost you $billions and when you are done you will be out of missiles.

Israel is saying "our intelligence is top notch, we know where your generals are, we know where your secret bases are, and we know how to exploit the weakness of your air defense". They are also saying the next strike will be against your nuclear weapons.

So if Iran is a month away from a nuclear bomb and they decide "let's wait a month" they will appear weak. That doesn't work. So instead the other option is to try and take out the ability of Israel to strike their nuclear reactors. But, a strong response will provoke an even stronger retaliation from Israel. They can't wimp out because they could lose Hezbollah, Hamas and Yemen. You could try and coordinate a big attack with all the proxies at once, but since Israel's intelligence is so good they would get a heads up. So then, just like Jesus crucifixion when the leaders said "not at the feast lest there be an uproar" I suspect Iran will be forced to attack when they least want to. Besides there are rumors leaked that the heifer will be sacrificed at Passover. Since October 7 was done to prevent that sacrifice it is reasonable that Iran will be forced to do something this weekend.

However, their hand was forced because they thought Israel would sacrifice the Red Heifer, that is what prompted this October 7 attack.
That is incorrect. What prompted the attack was that Israel and Saudi Arabia were very close to a peace deal between Israel and the Arab nations. Iran is neither Arab nor Sunni, but Persian and Shia. And Iran does not want peace in the Middle East, since they support worldwide terrorism (while terrorizing their own people) and the total extermination of Israel and the Jews.

Iran had already been working with Hamas in Gaza planning an attack, and this turned out to be the best opportunity. Not just planning, but funding, advising, arming, and supporting Hamas and Hezbollah all the time. At the same time Israel's political, military, and intelligence leadership failed to properly monitor what was going on in their own backyard. And now that they had an opportunity to wipe out the mullahs and ayatollahs, they attacked Iran's nuclear facilities. Iran claims that their facilities were not damaged, so do we really know what happened?

Ideally a real president and a friend of Israel (like Trump) would have given total support for an attack on Iran's political (and religious) leadership, all of their military, and all of their nuclear facilities at one and the same time. Iran declared war on America and Israel a long time ago, and has made it a current reality. Supporting the Houthis of Yemen as they destroy Red Sea shipping is also a part of this war. So dealing piece-meal with Iran will prove to be a huge mistake, especially without US backing. And with the Woke US military today, it would be a disaster.

"The Jerusalem Post reports that Israel has sent a 'clear message' to Iran by striking 'almost right next door' to a nuclear site in Isfahan, meaning that 'we chose not to hit your nuclear sites this time, but we could have done worse right here'. " This was definitely a very weak response.

More reports that the attack from Israel took out the antiaircraft defending a nuclear site.

Iran is threatening to hit Israel's nuclear sites, this sounds like confirmation that the strike from Israel has directly threatened their atomic facilities. Iran also changed their policy on using nukes, again indicating the strike from Israel has escalated the situation. We also have another strike tonight.

This again confirms that Israel chose the wrong targets for its response to the massive drone attack by Iran. It is the political/religious leadership of Iran that is now threatening retaliation. But has Israel targeted the mullahs and ayatollahs FIRST, that would have been the end of further retaliation. The military leaders have been taking their orders from the religious leaders all along. But if they do not exist, who will give the orders?

OK, so you need to contact the generals and military personnel in Israel who have spent their lives working for the national security of Israel and offer them our expertise

Probably the opposite with regards to further retaliation.
I sense you want full out war.
Here I thought you were a conservative not a neo-conservative.

Actually it would NOT be a full out war. A precisely targeted attack on the evil and demonic religious leaders of Iran would bring the war to an end. As well as their tyranny in Iran. The Iranians are not happy with their leaders at all. And their military never acted independently of the mullahs and ayatollahs.

Also please note that the Sunni Arab nations would be more than happy to see the Shia Persian religious leaders wiped out. The Arabs wanted peace with Israel but Iran's leaders wanted war and terrorism.

WWIII is out of the question unless the West continues to provoke Putin and fund Zelensky. But that is a totally separate issue.

Yet they failed Israel prior to October 7, WHICH SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED. Mossad (their intelligence agency) and the IDF were world famous for always being on top of the situation. Suddenly there was a failure of vigilance and many paid a costly price for that.

There is also another aspect to this debacle. The Jews in Israel (secular or religious) have failed to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And since they are separated from Christ they also do not have the wisdom that they could have had. The Messianic Jews are a minority. These are the ones who believe in (and on) Yeshua ha Mashiach (Jesus the Christ) and are therefore saved.

Ummm, No. I am not a general in IDF. You need to tell them this. At the same time you can deliver your gospel message to the rest of Israel that they are all failures.

Look at this funding bill, the US is at war with Russia, Iran and China and they are at war with us. Our allies are Taiwan and Israel. Seems like Europe is more than happy to sit back while we all duke it out.

By what authority do they have the right to perform these targeted attacks? Iran is a sovereign nation.

Let's see we have failures in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia, Libya etc., etc.,
So then your interventionist policies place you firmly in the Neo-Con camp of Bill Krysol etc.,

"WWIII is out of the question unless the West continues to provoke Putin and fund Zelensky."

I absolutely agree on this, but the USA has provoked in many, many places to protect its economic interests with very bad results in the long term.
Iran was not always a theocracy/dictatorship.
In fact, in 1953 the USA and Britain staged a coup to overthrow the elected government because they feared the nationalization of oil.

Iran is a ROGUE STATE and attacked Israel without any provocation. They asked for a retaliation by doing that and Israel has the right to respond.

Do you see your warped perception of everything? If someone attacked your family without provocation, you would certainly respond.

Israel's Military Intelligence Chief Resigns Over Oct.7 Failures
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...tel-li-gence-chief-resigns-over-oct7-failures

This confirms that there was a massive failure of good military intelligence in Israel some time before October 7. And innocent civilians paid a high price. The leadership of Israel failed its own people. And now they made a lame attack on Iran and a long drawn out war against Hamas. The responses should have been swift, deadly and final.
