At any rate....Iran is out of munitions. They couldn't attack Kuwait or even Haiti at this point.

So defense is not going to be an issue. They spent all their munitions in futility. Sucks to be them.

Historically fighting on two fronts does not go that well, and this could be a multi-front war for them.

Israel is pledging to retaliate and Iran is pledging that if Israel retaliates they will retaliate even harder.

I suspect they will take out $1 billion worth of assets but will avoid civilian targets and casualties.

The attack was mostly a failure....6 or 7 missiles got through and did little damage. Out of over 300 sent....that's a "Homer Simpson" type maneuver.

If you listen to this report he connects the dots that this war is provoked by Israel. They are the ones who want to fight Iran, they forced Iran to retaliate, and that gives them the justification to retaliate. This will take them to their real goal which is to take out Iran's nuclear capability. I think Iran is going to be really upset when that is done.

His argument is that the supposed friction between Biden and Netanyahu is staged to encourage Iran to attack so that Israel would be justified in retaliating.

And why was that? You failed to ask that critical question. Iran funded, trained, encouraged and helped Hamas with that unprovoked attach against Israel. So stopping short of the consulate was a minor response. Now we need a major response from Israel. Iran has not only supported terrorism against Israel, but has also promoted terrorism worldwide.

Scott Ritter gives a very different take on what is going on. To him Iran has demonstrated some very powerful and threatening capabilities in this attack. He also does not see any way that Israel can win. As a rule he is very well informed.
