Considering that signs in the heavens are for unbelievers I find the current church hysteria over the eclipse quite telling.
That’s weird.

I have yet to meet a single Christian, online or in real life, that is experiencing any “hysteria”.

What’s the name of your church that is in hysterics?

Maybe he means the ones in YouTube. That's where I see most of the hysteria.

Around 2 p.m. CDT the totality will cross the spot of the last solar eclipse in 2017 to form the "X." This will be just southeast of St. Louis, MO. The New Madrid seismic zone doesn't have a very high concentration of activity in that area but there is some. I suppose this would be the time and place for something major to happen if it's gonna happen.

I get the feeling he’s talking about those of us that are talking about it here.

I could be wrong though.

I don't think any of you are hysterical about this. Everyone on here has been really calm.

For me, I like the sciences. Plus we won't see another solar eclipse cross the US for another 20 years. I could be dead before that so I might as well check this one out. :geek:

My dad is hoping that the occurrence's effect on atmospheric pressure will induce my niece's labor. Today, she has arrived at her due date, and I'm excited to welcome my grandniece into the world, she is my sister's first grandchild. :D

The full eclipse just happened in Kerrville, TX. So beautiful!
Also Austin, TX!

PS - Watching it on the NASA live stream and LiveNow Fox too!

Mine takes place in roughly 20 minutes or so but the police are racing everywhere. I wonder while people are out watching the bad people trying to rob business and no doubt traffic wrecks are bad.

Really? No CERN, devil’s comet, rockets fired at the moon hysteria? Akin to the ”blood moon” nonsense from Hegge.

Edit: forgot about the “Nineveh” and rapture hysterics.

It's happening here right now in eastern Oklahoma. Not total but it's getting pretty dark.

No. But you could have simply asked.

On brand, though. (Shrugs)

Coverage in Russellville, Arkansas. Smaller corona but I can't get tired of seeing it. Three sunflares can be seen. Beautiful diamond ring!

Carbondale, IL next....

THAT's the one that the X mark is on. The eclipse crossed there in 2017 and will be there again this time as well! In about a minute.....

Crowd going crazy.... Oh my gosh you can see planets too! Beautiful green corona...
