Tulip

A tulip is a beautiful flower, does anyone know why a flower should be starved of life with total depravity.

I look at a flower and I think it cant be left totally defenceless against the elements,

Surly It's creator would leave it with some mechanism in which to.defend it's self


But then I wonder with such a beauty, a flower has and such love it was created with, that surely it's creator could not look at its flowers and think total depravity.

So I say to myself.perhaps it wasn't its creator who did that.

Perhaps it was some totally deprived person, who thought of way to get so many beautiful flowers deprived and striped of everything, including it's very nature it was created with.

I heard this person was John Calvin.

Apparently he was this guy who looked upon a flower and for some bizarre reason imagined total depravity


Did anyone come to know this mind set with God.

You know the mindset that strips even the innocent.

Anyhow I was wondering, where else do we see something the lord truly detest about innocence being stripped, and who does the lord say it comes from.

Oh and i just wondered, surly to say you know total depravity and this John Calvin fellow, you must be saying you know satan even better

God’s not willing that any should perish. He created hell for satan and his angels. If one man goes to hell, he’s going to a place never intended for him to go.

We used to play this as kids but it was based on what school boy "loves me" "loves me not" My friend used to laugh because I always got all the troubled/bad boys 😢🤣🤣

That God keeps, justifies, redeems, sanctifies, declares innocent of all charges and adopts those who come to Him in faith trusting in His work on our behalf has nothing to do with total depravity.

An person who is declared innocent of all charges past, present and future cannot be found guilty again.

End of story, Eternal security is biblical and it is the Good news.

I’m not a Calvinist, but I’m certainly onboard with this definition of “ Total Depravity”:

Total Depravity is the Biblical teaching that human beings since the Fall have inherited both the guilt and sin nature of Adam in such a way that absolutely everything about them is affected by sin. This does not mean every person is as sinful as they could possibly be.

And the Daisy meme is pretty darn accurate if you think about it.
