I guess both sides have people desperately trying to hold on to failed narratives. The Internet is replete with examples of such. They’re almost placeholders for absurdity.

Right. The pile of things right is about ten feet. The pile of conspiracy theories proven wrong is about a guzillion miles high. It’s the broken clock syndrome thingy.

Basically what happens is a group of people are competing in the I Ain’t Gonna Believe Anything You Tell Me Olympics. Once in a while they stumble upon something, but MOST of the time, they simply stumble upon nothing.

And it’s not that people are against suckling on the teat of misinformation. It’s that they’re against suckling on the teat feeding them misinformation they don’t want to hear. Plenty of people, many of them using this very forum, who willingly have a few IVs hooked directly from their figurative veins, to the teats of misinformation that make them feel all cozy and warm inside. And many of them who rail against cancel culture, will try to cancel culture me on this platform, because what i’m saying isn’t what they want to hear. Your run of the mill Narcs and Tattletales.

This brings up an interesting idea which is also linked to that movie Matrix.
Is the red pill or the blue pill better?

The red pill represents knowledge and wisdom.
The blue pill represents ignorance and bliss.

Honestly, if given the choice i'd take the blue pill every time.
Then i would be happy saying things for which i have no clue about with absolute authority.
Like The Earth is Flat or We never went to the Moon and things like that.

Think about it. It's pure happiness.
And from a Christian perspective, i pray to God all the time to get me to some sort of Angelic state because i tell Him everyday "I get it and i don't want this (limited) free-will anymore".

According to scripture, weren’t people basically on the blue pill, until they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Meaning, they were in paradise, until they became aware of good and evil.

Yes, that's a child-like state of bliss.

And this is growth which leads to appreciation of God. So that's why i asked to get back to the Garden.
Because i appreciate Him enough now.

Lol black swan event. I’ve seen our bastions of truth fail at predicting those too many times. If people would keep track, they’d quickly lose credibility. Luckily for the predictors, they have a fire hose on full blast of shiny new objects to keep them distracted. (Which will inevitably prove false too, and go unnoticed because people are too distracted with the new shiny objects coming out of the fire hose.)
