The throne

Behind the door was darkness with gloom,
No light no table just an empty room.
One spot to sit a seat for a king,
A crown on his head his hand had a ring.
There sat none on this place to sit,
Never been filled how can we forget.
An empty room and empty throne,
In darkness it sat all alone.
Then one day a mighty king came,
He entered in when he heard his name.
He walked on in this empty space,
With tears of joy upon his face.
He took a seat upon the throne,
The room all changed and was not alone.
He had a crown that was made of thorns,
His name was mocked his cloths were torn.
Holes on his hands yet not a ring,
What he has done means everything.
Rejoice his name and lift it up high,
But most turn away and follow their pride.
Lord and Savior who gave his life,
They proved his death with a blade of a knife.
He gave me his he can have mine,
I will speak his name till I'm all out of time.
Deny yourself and pick up your cross,
Then speak his name to all who are lost.
Here in my heart is like a home,
You're lord of my life you sit on the throne.

Dear heavenly father
Thank you so much for your love. Father how you have blessed us with your grace. Father you are true to your word and I pray that we put our trust and faith in Jesus. I pray that people will turn to you and place Jesus on the throne of their hearts and their lives. I praise your holy name in Jesus name
