Plight of the palestinians

Scripture shows toward the time of the end the Palestinians would be beaten with the rod of the king of Babylon.An oppressor who would smite the people in wrath continually.As we read the news ,we watch as prophecy is being fulfilled before our eyes.Starving people being slaughtered as they try to get food

When we read of how the nations hate Babylon in Revelation,we can understand how and why this hatred builds untill the nations destroy Babylon.

After Babylon is destroyed,the nations that attack Babylon rejoice ,then comes the end,Palestina is dissolved and Zion is founded.




Isaiah 14

29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.

31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.

32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

Okay..this is where I get confused. Is not most of Palestine the descendants of the wayward line of evil kings and so on?

I know Israel has intermingled with many.. probably Palestine as well.. but to whom are God's promises?

I've thought the suffering now of Palestine is the continued consequence of a past of rebellion toward the true God (not Allah)

God's promises are to Abraham and his seed.

Galatians 3:16
The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.

Israel

Dig a little deeper into why this is happening:

1. The political leaders of the Palestinians (all Arabs) since the time of Yasser Arafat (an Egyptian) have been trained and indoctrinated to hate Jews irrationally. They still do.

2. The political leaders of the Palestinians have been talking about exterminating Israel and driving all the Jews into the sea for a very long time. "From the river to the sea" is the same idea.

3. The political leaders of the Palestinians have been rejecting every negotiated peace deal, since that would mean that they have nothing for themselves, and their usefulness is finished.

4. The political leaders of the Palestinians have allowed the terrorists of Hamas and Hezbollah to take control of the Palestinians.

5. Hamas does not care for the Palestinians so it has used them to build tunnels from Gaza into Israel, and then recklessly attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. The only possible response of Israel is to wipe out Gaza, in order to survive. This is an existential issue.

6. All the Muslim and Arab countries of the Middle East have refused to do anything positive, constructive, or beneficial for the Palestinians. All the countries on the Arabian peninsula have billions upon billions of oil revenues, but none of that has gone towards the resettlement and rehabilitation of the Palestinians. Now Egypt is trying to block Palestinians from coming in, and so is Jordan.

7. Israel has asked the civilians to depart from Gaza, but Hamas has forced them to remain in order to become cannon fodder. In the meantime the world has stood by and failed to rebuke Hamas, or deal with Hamas. In fact deal with Iran, who is behind Hamas. And who was behind Iran? Barack Obama and Joe Biden, who gave Iran billions of dollars to promote terrorism. Instead, there has been a pro-Hamas and anti-Israel movement worldwide.

8. So who is really responsible for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza? It is Joe Biden. Hamas would be non-existent without Iran. And Iran would be toothless without billions from Biden. Biden has blood on his hands in many different ways.

As to the prophetic aspect, what we do know from Scripture is that the land between the Nile and the Euphrates has been given to the twelve tribes of Israel by God Himself through Abraham (c 2000 BC). And God has specifically chosen Jerusalem to be an eternal city on earth (c 1000 BC). So no matter what the Muslims and Arabs do, in the end Christ will return as "the Deliverer" to Zion (Jerusalem) and also deliver Israel from its enemies and its own sins and wickedness.

True. But neither side are Christians, so this does not apply. BTW, when Christ returns to earth, He Himself will ensure wholesale genocide on the wicked world. See Revelation 19. From God's perspective there is a time for grace and then there is a time for divine judgments.

Judgment on Judah's Enemies
Zep 2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
Zep 2:2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.

Zep 2:7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

There is not question as to why the beast and ten kings hate the prostitute.Their hate for the prostitute grows by the day as the king of Babylon smites the afflicted.


Revelation 17:16
The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

Gaza is home of the third oldest church in the world. Christians have been killed when Israel bombed the church grounds and a sniper opening up on the church grounds.

Israel did not actually target the church and eyewitnesses confirmed that. Here is what happened:

"The Israeli military told AFP that its fighter jets had hit a command and control centre involved in launching rockets and mortars towards Israel.

“As a result of the IDF [Israeli army] strike, a wall of a church in the area was damaged,” it said, adding “we are aware of reports on casualties. The incident is under review.”
Witnesses said the attack damaged the facade of the church and caused an adjacent building to collapse, adding that many injured people were evacuated to hospital...

Explaining the damage done to the church, the Israeli military claimed: “Hamas intentionally embeds its assets in civilian areas and uses the residents of the Gaza Strip as human shields.”"

Of course Al Jazeera -- a propagandist for Islamist terrorists -- calls this a "war crime".
