He his faithful your correct, and anyone's faith is not fulfilled untill this is complete in the believer. Only genuine faith receives salvation.

You received salvation by God's good will, Grace.

If a believer is not worthy Of God's good will, Jesus will say i never knew them.

Genuine believers trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and not in themselves and will not go to hell also.

According to scripture your faith must be tried in fire, Because Jesus who is the bread of life even said to sin, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the lords mouth, and not a man's own logical reasoning 😊

So what Jesus, Paul and John said in John 3:18, Acts 13:39, Romans 1:16 and 1 John 5:11-13 are not true statements according to you? Personally, I believe Jesus, Paul and John, which is not man's own logical reasoning, but scripture. (2 Timothy 3:16)

this doesn't say faith must be tried in fire.

it says that the particular trials of the people who Peter was writing to were so that their genuineness would be proven, the result of that being proven being praise, glory and honor.
and it says that even though gold is purified by fire, gold still perishes - the implication being that faith is worth far more than gold because it never perishes.
