I know this is not a National News Story, however, as a response to the Post about can Trump do anything to stop supporting him, I submit the following:
If Trump, or whoever is the Republican Candidate promises the following:
1) Their first day in the Oval Office, they immediately issue Presidential Pardons to those peoples involved in the January 6th debacle that DID NOT engage in any violent acts (including destruction of property, and/or trespassing on Federal Property), would gain my support.
2) Their first week in Office, they order the Justice Department to begin a Federal Investigation into the actions of Fani Willis regarding her ties to the Prosecutor she appointed in the Trump Investigation and possible illegal use of Campaign Funds for personal use, they would receive my support.
I am fully aware, as are several others here, that I have always held I would not support Trump for President. However, given what I believe to be the immoral, and unconstitutional prosecution of peoples whose only act was to gather on the steps of Congress to protest an election they believed was corrupted by the Socialist Democrats. Those who while kneeling and praying, were viciously attacked by the Police, and those who offered no physical resistance when attacked by Police should immediately be Pardoned, and their Records expunged.
I doubt any Candidate will make this promise, or, if they do, once elected , they would actually fulfill their promise. However, I am fully convinced that there is coming a time when the Federal Officials and Law Enforcement Officers who violated the Constitutional and Civil rights of the peoples I mentioned will face the wrath of the Lord God. I assure you, His punishment will far exceed any possible punishment they may receive from our Justice System.
So, yes, there is a possibility I could support Trump with my vote. But, honestly, I doubt he will make such promises to the American people. We shall see, I suppose.
