Hi Arthur,

I remember the thread you started here a while ago in which you were asking for help/sponsorship/aid to leave Russia:

https://christianchat.com/conspirac...ghts-against-the-communists-in-russia.210376/

* What is your situation now? Are there any updates?

* Where is your current location, and are you looking for a wife locally to you, or are you expecting/hoping to meet a woman in another location/country?

* Are you wanting her to move to where you are (assumedly still Russia?) Or are you wanting to move to her country?

Hello, yes there was such a topic, but in it I asked for help in fighting the communists in maintaining my rights and selling an apartment, I don’t remember anything about sponsorship there.
Yes, I did sell the room, but it didn’t quite worked with the move.
I'm still in Russia
Actually, I'm looking for a wife in the USA.
I wouldn't want my wife to move to the place I'm trying to leave from.

These are some of the posts you wrote in your previous thread:

Guys I plan to become a refugee, can someone act as a guarantor in the USA?
If you want to help, be my guarantor
Maybe you could consult with lawyers you know or someone else who is connected with legal protection, who could help me arrange the sale according to the law. Then act as a guarantor. I understand that you may be worried about me, but in my opinion it's not a good idea to send me to run without money to Kazakhstan or Georgia.
Yes, I had a gorantor my girlfriend in Brooklyn, but we broke up. Now I need another. I can’t leave until I certify the deal, and they are in no hurry to certify it for me. I am looking for some kind of independent notary office to formalize it.
Well, if you want to help me escape from here and you really are for America, then I need to resolve the issue with the notary office here. And act as a guarantor in the USA, if I get to them.
You mentioned wanting to come to the USA a few times, and asked for someone to be your "guarantor" repeatedly. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding but I interpreted a guarantor to be a sponsor -- someone to provide legal and financial assistance in moving to the United States -- which you requested multiple times.

I wish you the best in your search for a wife, but it also seems important to mention that any woman who might want to contact you should know that you are in Russia and are also specifically looking for legal and financial help in coming to the USA.

Red flags everywhere.
Yes indeed.

As Lynx likes to say, "There's more red flags here than at a Chinese parade."

I try to be open-minded and give everyone a chance, and I certainly sympathize with people who are living in terribly oppressed situations.

But... I also want readers to be aware. No grifters and no catfish on my watch, if I can do anything about it. And I will sincerely apologize if I am wrong.

But, @FriendlyFriend, this new thread just makes it feel like, "Well, I couldn't get anyone to get me any closer to America by just asking for a sponsor..." So...

Plan B Now Activated: Let's Try Asking for a Wife Instead. (Specifically, from the USA...)

In order to get a response, it might be in your best interest to write a few posts about yourself. As it stands now, you are basically an unknown entity. This will take a bit of work on your part, even then, no one may reply.

Arthur, you're in the wrong audience buddy.
Go on the dark web or ask a friend of a friend who lives in US, if any American girls are interested in a paperwork marriage for a reasonable price.
Good luck.

Paperwork marriage?
Paperwork marriage is when a man (non U.S. resident) wants to marry a woman (born in U.S.) for a green card, and then divorce after the green card has been issued.
Fees for this transaction vary from person to person.

Otherwise I completely agree with you

I thought I might suddenly meet women here who are interested in this.

As far as I know, such marriages are prohibited by US law

Still, a guarantor is not really a sponsor, is it? Otherwise I completely agree with you.
Here are some definitions I looked up:

Guarantor: A person or organization that makes certain something happens or that something is protected, such as a loan, contract, or vote. A guarantor in financial terms is someone who will make sure a debt is paid of the borrower defaults on their loan.

"Guarantor" was the word you chose to use in your posts. You are looking for someone to help you legally and financially with coming to the United States.

Sponsor: An individual or organization that provides funds for a project; a person who assumes responsibility for another person or thing.

You say guarantor; I say sponsor; in the sense of what you are asking for, I think they can pretty much be seen as the same thing.

You want someone to oversee, fight the legal system, and foot the bill for your hope to move to the United States. After all, once you got here, what would you be able to do for work that would be legal?

Therefore, unless you could come here with a sizeable amount of your own to start you off, you are looking for someone to not only go through the mountain of challenges to bring you here, but to pay for it all as well.

What are your reasons for wanting to get married?

If your main intention to marry is to get legal entry into the USA while someone else foots the bill, then that's obviously a very questionable reason.

Hmm... You suddenly thought you would meet women who are interested in spending all they have to bring you here?

Technically such marriages are prohibited by law, but people are always trying to slip through the cracks.

I'm certainly no expert and I'm truly sorry if your intentions for getting married are noble. But any woman who might "apply" for this needs to know what she would be in for.

I've known many international couples over time and have seen the mountain of struggles they've had trying to work out marriages between countries. As I said, I'm no expert but I've seen how challenging it can be.

If it's a case of a United States citizen bringing someone here, there is a seemingly endless amount of legal work to get through that comes with an additional seemingly endless amount of fees. And even if they are able to get married, the person who comes to the US usually isn't allowed to legally work, sometimes for many years, which means the US citizen must be willing to provide all the finances needed for a lengthy amount of time.

Unless of course the person they are bringing here has a substantial amount of money of their own, but even then, they might not be able to access it once they get here.

I don't know all the details, but I've known people who have found out that moving from one country to the next does not mean they will be able to access their money internationally. It could be temporary or it could be permanent, and even if they can get to it, the amount they can withdraw might be permanently limited.

Now of course, if God has it in for you to marry a wife in the USA and come here, then may His will be done. But if this is something you are just trying to seek on your own, and for your own benefit...

I hope anyone else who has seen or knows about these things firsthand will share, as there is a lot to consider with international relationships that I think most people either don't know, or just gloss over.

Good morning Eli et alia .:). Perhaps it is different in the US than Canada, but here
you are required to be able to prove there is a bona fide relationship, by supplying
correspondence that would indicate such. How they determine that I do not know.
And perhaps it is more stringent here; our free health care especially is a strong
draw for those who want to take advantage of our progressive social programs.

That's it.

The next time I make a post trying to fish for, er, I mean, lure, uh, request, a husband, I'm specifically asking for someone in Canada!

Look friend, based on what you've said in other topics, through the language barrier and assuming you're genuinely from Russia, it means that you're looking for a Green Card.

Paperwork marriages are indeed illegal and if you're caught, you will be deported and banned from entering USA. The woman participating in this activity will be fined or even jailed. So i recommend you don't gamble with your life and do this.

Your best option to get a green card and live and work in USA legally is a worldwide program that USA offers called the "Green card lottery".

Here is the information from the US embassy in Russia: Diversity Visa - U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Russia (usembassy.gov)
Ask around in your neighborhood about this program, i'm sure they know. Application is cheap too. If you win, you get a green card and you can come to US legally.
Don't come to US illegally! You will have no life or future. You will not exist on paper. Avoid it.

Your second best option is to come though a work visa or even a school visa. Details here vary and are very complicated.
But try to Green Card lottery first and see how it goes.
If you have any other questions, let me know.

Good morning Magenta!

Canada has a lot better immigration system compared to USA. If you recall my joke in another thread about the Canadian and US border customs agent, that pretty much illustrates the attitudes in US (sink or swim mindset) or Canada (more friendly but also more pragmatic).

My wife has a cousin in Toronto and we (including my 10 year old kids back then) visited her about 5 years ago.
Personally i love Canada and i think i mentioned this somewhere else that if it wasn't so damn cold, i would move to Canada.
But despite this i asked for details on what would be involved if i moved with my family. Engaging the locals is also something i do frequently when i travel so i'm not in full tourist mode all the time.

It turns out that even for a US citizen is pretty difficult to move to Canada. Short of getting married or having a GreenCard lottery (which Canda offers) it's pretty much impossible to move there. Even if a company guarantees your visa, that doesn't mean you have a future in your residence there.
This is actually very good because it means that Canada has a strict immigration system compared to US.
Also, even for immigrants that they accept, they require a level of education from them and some skills. This is also good.
Finally the best part is the integration system that Canada provides which is non existent in US. In Canada, immigrants get about 2000 dollars per month per person (average) which requires them to go to school for a year, learn English, learn the Canadian way of life while helping them with rent and food.
So, this program integrates people into the Canadian society. In US the mentality is sink or swim.
I was very impressed with the Canadian immigration system compared to the US and i initially thought that it would be more relaxed than US but it turned out to be the opposite.
I hope they keep it like this and they don't destroy these policies because this is what makes a country run better.

It's very bad if you are doing it for all the wrong reasons so be careful. God is always watching and no one gets away with anything.
