Hi everyone 😊.

So I know we are to give our worries and fears to the lord. With that in mind, what are your worries and fears? Have they been lifted? Are you still struggling time to time with these burdens?

I know that we all have these struggles. In this day and age it seems that it is easy to have or let things surface (as far as worries and fears go) in our lives. I am hoping that by sharing these burdens that maybe we can help and encourage one another. Maybe even strengthen one another through the love and strength of the lord. No matter how big or small please feel free to share or encourage each other, thank you.

God bless❤️

Well I'm not too embarrassed to share...so I will start. I recently about 6 months ago went through what led to a divorce after 15yrs. Well I have 3 kids, and unfortunately this has put unwanted strain, even built a wall you could say, between my two older kids and myself. I am not worried about it, because I daily give it to God and I have a strong faith in Him.....and I know that God has already gone before me and conquered this circumstance. But, that doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt.

my doctor of over 35 years just retired. man, i feel way too old to interview new candidates to hire for the job.

but here's the thing: all throughout life we need to build stones of remembrance in our minds. all the times God has "saved" us from one thing and another, all the ways He's been faithful to us, all the things we thought were hopeless... only they weren't.

then, when something else crops up, we can look at those things, and remember God's faithfulness to His dear yet helpless children. we can be assured He has a plan, and it's a good plan, too. it helps put fear to flight.

long, long ago, i was sitting in my OB's office. he was a believer, and a patient had embroidered and framed a little picture that said, "if money can fix it, it's not a problem".

... and 40 years later, i haven't forgotten it. of course, it's simplistic, but it's also kinda true.

Hi pardizzle
Thank you for sharing. once was on the other side of that wall. My parents got a divorce when I was about 7. I had to live with my mom even though I wanted to stay with my dad. Divorce is hard on a family. I had kept my separation and had a similar wall between my mom and I. It got to a point where we stopped talking for a little more then 7 years. The lord revealed that I need to forgive her. I remember reading something like " how can I forgive you when you won't forgive others?". I pictured my mom as soon as I read it.

I may not know your situation but I know the lord loves you.......he loves us all. No matter what you may be going through, show the same love. Ask the lord to break the wall. He has helped breaks wall for many. If you let him guide you he will show you how.

I hope this encourages you.
God bless

My phone tells me my five pounds of port du salut will be delivered today.

I fear I will soon not be able to poop. But I'll be happy.

I really don't like snakes especially cobra's. Emu's are pretty scary too 😱

I have hemophobia. One time, my blood count got below a dangerous level and I had to go to ER and then a stay in the hospital for a transfusion. I needed at least 4 pints, the doctor said. The doctor asked me if I wanted something to calm my nerves. I agreed, but I felt nothing whatsoever from whatever they gave me. The anxiety continued...all night long with the blood bag hanging right in front of me.

It feels like a ball of barb wire twisting around in the stomach.

Oddly, this has gotten worse as I've gotten older. It wasn't too bad when I was a kid/teen. Anyway, I had an incident in the kitchen recently. I cut myself accidentally. I rushed to cover it. If I don't hurry and cover it, then set down or lay down I'll pass out from the sight of the blood. Fortunately, a loved one held my hand until the waves of panic subsided. I'm bad about being a solitary person and tend to prefer dealing with things on my own, but their hand made me realize that sometimes I need to rely on others. I believe that is what the Lord intends, to work together and help each other. It's something I'm trying to get better at, letting others help. A comforting hand is a blessing.

Thank you so much! I don't think of myself as brave. Honestly, at the time, I would rather have stayed in bed and perished than to go through that ordeal at the hospital, but thanks to my dad, nurses, and a doctor who said in a drawl, "We sure have beat up on ya' haven't we hun?" I'm here today! lol (I was too weak to resist them!)

Yes, a wheel. I'll take some dried cherries instead of wine, as I do not drink but I probably will need the fiber.

Wow, that is scary. I had a friend in school who was the same way. Even talking about it would get him close to passing out. I pray the lord will lift you fear away. Who knows maybe some day because of your experience, you will help someone who needs it.
