This is a poll to vote on who you are rooting to win the Super Bowl next Sunday February 11th. The choices are San Francisco 49ers and K.C. Chiefs. I live in Independence, Mo so my choice is my hometown team the K.C. Chiefs

hard choice for me, when in was a kid, as a atlanta falcons fan, the 49ers were the bad guys, the bullies that beat up my favorite team most every time they played. can't really root for them.

but, not a fan of the chiefs either.

so, blank slate for me.

That would be like me saying I only use Ubuntu CE edition, because I know of a Microsoft programmer who is atheist. :p

Because we're such Super-Christians that we can turn ANYTHING, no matter how inconsequential, into a political statement in the name of our faith!

Yeah, the devil is probably somewhere right now, scheming how to win a football game.

By the way, why do the quarterbacks and catchers get all the attention? Are we sure there are no Christians among the Chiefs' um... people who defend the guy who has the ball, linemen I think my friend called them... what if a Chiefs lineman is Christian? How does that balance out in Heaven?

Quarterback, halfback, fullback... No Nickelback?
Since there is a nickel defensive formation, this must be defending against the nickel. I haven't kept up with the season to see who has the better defensive strategies, which I determine to be the key to winning. You can't win if you can't score, and it is obvious that either team can score, or they wouldn't have gotten to the championship game but, I'm certain that these were the most successful in stopping the score was the main reason they're there. I'm leaning toward rooting for the 49's since I haven't since I don't recall them being of much notable significance since the Young/Rice era but, I haven't really kept up much since then either.

Look at how much satan and his media minions hate when Jesus is mentioned on live TV. satan puts his signature on the superbowl half time show. Billions of eyes looking on in a highly emotional state, you bet the spiritual battle is on.

When You Say "Jesus" on Live TV
Look What Happens When You Mention Jesus On Live TV
When You Say "Jesus!" THIS Happens

I'd rather hear the Christan CEO of gab speak and mention Jesus than the CEO of twitter/X with his satanic costume profile photo who never mentions Jesus.

I've been a football fan since the late 70's. Football is a simulated war and the QB is the general. He inspires the troops. He is the leader that makes everyone confident and perform better. They'll say Napoleon defeated xyz or Alexander the Great defeated xyz or similarly Brady defeated xyz.

Who wins the super-bowl is irrelevant but an influential person like a QB honoring Jesus in the post-game interview is relevant.

I've heard of fans so ardent that they could be described as rabid, but you take it to a whole other level.

What if the Chiefs win? Will you be okay? Should we have an ambulance on standby?

To the Christians on this thread. Be aware of Twenty-Five Rules of Disinformation. A post entirely about the power of Jesus' name and how the god of this world can't stand it. Be aware of such tactics and do not engage in it.

Rule 2,4,5: "Avoid discussing key issues", "Use a straw man... Either make up an issue", "Sidetrack opponents with name calling and ridicule."

Which one covers Jesus juking?

Jesus juke: To take a light hearted conversation and turn it into something all serious and holy.

This was a nice thread about the super bowl. But you had to make it all about the evil owner of one team and one player on the other team who happens to be a Christian.

If I started a thread about "Which is better, Little Debbie or Hostess?" I bet you would come in and say:

NBTT would say:

Both Little Debbie and Hostess are evil. No real Christian should eat either of those devil cakes. I know a guy who is employed at the factory where they make Drake cakes, so Drake cakes are all I eat.
