I agree, if a photoshopped video is obviously fake then it is not so threatening, but if these videos are very hard to discern then it is a very clear warning to everyone. "Don't cross us or we'll do the same to you". Imagine how expensive and how difficult and how slanderous it would be to defend yourself from one of these deep fakes. I have tried to keep my face off the internet and my voice off, we have been warned of false witnesses, false accusations, we have been told by the Lord that they will do this against the believers.

The real issue is not the deep fake photos but how a person who probably has little or nothing to offer has suddenly become so prominent, and is being used to sway voters to Biden. Why would anyone pay any attention to any Taylor Swift unless this was a psychological operation against Trump? Biden has nothing to offer either.

I don't have an 'attitude' if I say a Christian forum does not need to discuss a salacious topic. I noticed that someone posted a thread about how they are having a porn problem and wish they had never viewed porn in the first place. Curiosity being what it is and men being how they are, I can guarantee that some will go and try to find these fake pics...from this forum or otherwise.

There have been other threads in this forum about AI and that should be discussed.

There is simply probably thousands/millions of articles on the web about AI. They are factual and discuss the pros and cons.

Now start a thread of that nature and that might be beneficial. You don't need clickbait to discuss this topic

I suppose the reader gleans what they wish to glean when reading the OP. However, if one pays attention to the "disclaimer" clearly posted at the beginning of the OP, they should be able to see past the "nude pics" part, and understand that the OP is about how people are using AI for all sorts of nefarious purposes.

As far as should it be posted for discussion here, given the plethora of Threads that have been posted here discussing Clintons and Trumps sexual escapades, I hardly believe this particular Post is so much more offensive. As well, given what the Left is doing with AI to discredit Trump, the Trumpies should be interested in realizing how such a discussion of the nefarious use of AI could well effect the upcoming Election.

There's really not much anyone can do to circumvent salaciousness when addressing the characteristics and mannerisms of a salacious world.

Perhaps thread could have been retitled "Lewd singer outraged over faked AI nudes showing her face?" But it wouldn't be consistent with the posting of other topics from a worldly point of view, and some of the message that the masses are getting would have been lost.

I gather the OP was attempting to capture the hypocrisy of ... words come so slowly to me...but I think that is because my OCD requires the perfect expression... and for lack of a better one coming anytime soon, I will say.... the pedaler of sex' outrage of being pedaled... However, the title, to me, seemed to suggest the outrage of the community, and I'm not sure that was an accurate representation of the general consensus, since I'd gather that the world could really care less. I might just be projecting my sentiments though.

I could care less about the sexual escapades of unregenerate people but I do kind of wonder about the curiosity of Christians who just have to talk about it
