Your ignorance is on display again. I know something about these thing due to my previous work. Explosives are difficult to make stable and rocket propellants worse. Some of the cluster munitions supplied to Ukraine were made in the 1990's. Do you know how to check the explosive inside a shell? When I was in the "missile age" Navy (a recruiting ad), each ship fired a missile once a year. That was because the propellant was close to its expiry date. Missile age indeed.

The US has vast numbers of Bradleys and Abrams tanks in storage. They have book value only. They cost money to store. The US would not pay the cost of bringing vast amounts of equipment back from Afghanistan, same as happened in Vietnam. There are always two sides to a financial equation, something accountants rarely consider. First, how much does it cost if we do something. Second, what is the cost of we do nothing. You can save money by not servicing your car. If you run out of oil and blow the engine, it will cost you far more than you might have saved. Europe and the US will pay a high price if they permit Russia to prevail in this war.

Ukraine has resisted the "second best" army in the world (second rate seems appropriate) for well over 18 months. Russia has lost nearly half the territory it took in the first stage of their misadventure. They have lost so many soldiers that Putin is pleading with Russian women to have more children. Russia is recruiting criminals from prisons because they can't get enough soldiers. Ukraine is a useful buffer between the rest of Europe and Russia. Supporting Ukraine militarily is not only sensible but essential.
can I ask do you have firm evidence that the usa are selling theese type of not worth servicing weapons to Ukraine , seeing as your not ignorant could you provide it ?

*sigh* please read my posts a little more carefully. What I said was that the equipment is/was in storage. That includes the Bradley IFV, which is due to be replaced, and many Abrams tanks. The Bradley design is 30 years old but still superior to the Russian equivalent (info from many sources including Forbes). Around 2,000 older Bradleys went into storage. There are about the same number of Abrams tanks in storage also. They are older versions. They are still better than any Russian tank that gets to the battlefield. Australia bought some older Abrams and had them upgraded.

"Old" does not mean incapable. I'm old but I still have life in me. As to ammunition, what tends to happen is that the misfire rate increases. For Ukraine, 80% of something is better than 100% of nothing. There are developments that improve the shelf life of some munitions. I won't tell you more than that.

There is nothing secret or hidden about any of this except a few irrelevant. I have closely followed the Ukraine war since day one. I follow 3 main sources:
Combat Veteran Reacts (As the name suggests, a veteran of the Iraq war)
Task and Purpose (also an American Veteran)
Denis Davydov (A Ukrainian commercial pilot who has sources in Ukraine's military)

Plus anything else I find informative. I've culled a lot from my list because there is much misinformation. Some will tell you that Ukraine is about to pull up it's flag over Moscow and others will tell you that Zelensky is Putin in disguise. OK, I exaggerate. I hope you get my point.

this is only your experience in past wars, i would like firm evidence for the here and now.

In the older days regulations granted people to build and use all kinds of unsafe products, is that still the case for today ?

Plus you may be speaking of only a limited amount of weapons that misfire, maybe in the older wars, as in older weapons you had more miss fires

But I can't see that with modern day regulation would permit possible dud miss fires since there is now tight laws on guns having to be blanked if they are unsafe.

But I ain't talking about weapons such as tanks or guns I'm talking about bombs, missiles.

If there are now tight regulations on guns, what regulations will be on missiles ?.

Do you have any idea exactly how many missiles theese trigger happy soldiers have been given, because my point is i want to establish just how much indebted to the USA Ukraine is ?.

Plus's all the news I heard was Ukraine have been getting modern day missiles provided with modern day tank busters like missile launchers a soldier can hold in the hands,

Could you imagine the uproar of theese soldiers being given backfires, with one of them on there shoulders ?.

Now before you rush in with a war veteran head on , and think the war veteran heros are giving the Ukraine lots of cheap weapons

Ask your self why has USA powers that be blocked an emergency bill request from biden to provide more weapons to Ukraine and Isreal ?.

Personaly I think neither Isreal or Ukraine have the funds in place to pay them back.

Have you even remotely thought about that 🤔

The war in Ukraine is tough on everyone involved.
The Russians that don't want to be there and the Ukranians that don't want the Russians destroying their homes. They literally can't go home for the holidays because litwrally Russians are living it it and made it a base.

Polish truck drivers are blocking the highways into Ukraine over pay disputes. Ukrainian truck drivers don't pay the same taxes and have the same inspections as Polish drivers....so the Poles are "breaking down" at the border.

Bradley's are from the 80's and refurbished last year. They run and work quite well. They are an effective troop transport and attack system.

The winter in Ukraine is rough....between mud and snow and wearing winter gear all the time.

Russia is pulling back in some areas and holding in others. They themselves have a chaotic mess.

The American "advisors" and strategists and the Ukrainian strategists are both finger pointing at each other at the moment....because WAR IS HARD to wage. Trained Soldiers don't grow on trees...both sides have lost thousands of skilled soldiers.

And it's to the point that Biden and Poland BOTH want to send troops to kick Russia out.

There's no world in which Russia wins this...simply because the politicians are willing to expend YOUR life to prove a point.

Ukraine has been getting weaponry from various countries. Some is modern, some is old and some is ancient. Ukraine uses whatever it can get. Do your own research. I've followed this, as I've said, from day one. Russia has kindly "donated" some vehicles also. Ukraine's military was mostly Russian dating back to the USSR days.

"You don't think"........ I suggest that you find out. Opinions are worthless unless based on facts. As to the cost, right now it's an investment in the future. Ukraine and Israel are paying in blood while the rest of the world looks on. If you think that democracy is not worth fighting for, if you think it acceptable for Muslim terrorists to attack peaceful nations, you have a weird outlook on life

Do you know why the funding has been blocked? It has nothing to do with Ukraine or Israel. It has everything to do with Republicans trying to twist Biden's arm to get what they want. I can tell you this much. The day that America deserts Israel is the end of America as a world power. America is already on the downward slope.

I've stated facts

Which is the USA has refused to pass an emergency bill to fund Ukraine any further,

You have stated an idea as to why with no evidence to support your claim.

You've also added other ideas you have with no evidence to support your position,

If you can't provide it be honest and admit you can't.

This would be the descent thing to do rather than take your ignorance and beaf head to new heights

latest news reports suggests that the USA is the major backer of supplying arms to Ukraine, would you agree with this, it feels like you don't want to acknowledge this for spme reason, theres also a live news broadcast today from zelenkski to appeal for more weapons, as the US are still blocking supplying more arms to Ukraine,

Well it looks like the USA will strike a peace deal with Russia soon, all tho I suspect the narrative here will be, just like Isreal, which the land must be cleansed of the enemy,

But who is the enemy 🤔

^^^^Not that I want Americans to have to foot the bill for Ukrainian kia; but that's pretty messed up. I hope they are at least pulling the dog tags and maybe just hiding the kia until after the war.

You are funny. Yep, and those who were manufacturing Zyklon B thought the Germans were simply killing rodents because they wanted their concentration camps to meet international standards when the Red Cross visited.

This is NOT a source! This is a Twitter account posting a lie! Nothing to back it up! Not a News article, credible journal or even stolen papers.

Half of the stuff on Twitter is lies! And the Ukraine is going to continue defending itself against the evil Putin and his disgusting attempt to invade Ukraine and kill its people. In other words the genocide of my people - the Ukrainians.

Do you know who Putin admires? Stalin! The communist leader of the USSR who starved 10 million Ukrainians to death in 1932-33, and then purged hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians in 1937-38, the same year my great-grandfather was killed, in Ukraine! Then Stalin went on to teach Hitler everything he knew, before they parted as enemies,

That is who has invaded Ukraine. The govt is probably corrupt, just like every other country on the planet because the heart of msn is desperately wicked, as the Bible says. That doesn't mean the Ukrainian people should be wiped out!

No more lies from lying Twitter posts!

Without the corruption in Russia Putin would have won the war in February 2022.
