The prophecy is, Jesus will return as the lion of Juda, but has that already happened

So first a video

.so now the returning apart

Rev 1
Look, he is coming with the clouds,”[b]
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”[c]
So shall it be! Amen.
Let me be clear if the prophecy has been been fulfilled in my opinion means Jesus will not come back again

But where I'm expressing my view is was this the start of the great tribulation. And are we actually in the great tribulation

Rev 1

even those who pierced him”;

Let's split that this up will every eye see him spiritualy because God no longer sees you or your sin but Jesus in You.

And also you might see Jesus in people 😊

And did The people here in rev 1 really see Jesus coming on the clouds 😊

So now how do post trib believers know the hour or the day has come baring in they will face great tribulation, but yet the bible says no one will no the hour or the day.

So is it possible the rapture belief is an individual experience 😊

If we were in the great tribulation period of Revelation …

Everything that you know of in the epistles regarding what Christ accomplished for you will have terminated.
In other words, things like …..salvation by grace, spirit within, the one body of Christ, the one new man, Christ in you, you in Christ, grace & mercy, and hope in Christ… or hope of any kind would be expired. ……………..Those things do not exist in the book of Revelation.

Not exactly true, but a noteworthy point. Either what you suggest is true, or the book of Revelation is about something other than what most people are taught.

Sure. Lots of things collided in the 1st century. The resurrection of Jesus literally changed the course of history. From the time sin to the resurrection, life on earth was growing increasingly worse. The effects of sin were affecting humanity physically, relationally, and spiritually. Even God's own people lived largely as the surrounding world. That's why it was always God's plan to bring in a new covenant; a covenant with His Son so that it could not fail.
But this left a problem. Under the terms of the old covenant, if Israel failed to keep the terms of the covenant, they were subject to all the sanctions in the covenant. The culmination of those sanctions was what befell Israel in 70AD. The question was answered to the parable shared by Jesus...what do you think the owner of the vineyard will do when He comes?...Matthew 21:33-40.
The book of Revelation deals largely with the change from one covenant to another, and what that meant for the nation of Israel.

Jesus Christ has not returned yet. This happens after the Antichrist sets himself up in Jerusalem claiming to be God.

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Obviously shut the door on them in mathew @Cameron143, because they did not behave while he was away. I brought up the parable of tenants for great trubulation in my other thread 😊

Well it's not the only time the door was shut, the temple has been destroyed twice.

But Obviously before he came back speaking before the cross they where under a covenant they where not obeying.

All that time from Adam to eve was sin and great tribulation probably the world has not seen.

Like complete destruction of cities.

It's just history repeating it's self.

But yes the whole of revelation can be fitted into the past present and future

Is there any difference really.

I brought up the parable of the tenants as a great tribulation event in my last thread.

But has all that happened spiritualy 🤔 most of the great tribulation is talked about as if we would see it in the flesh.

Yes, we are the body of Christ.
1 John 4:2 KJV
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And, shall come in like manner!
Acts 1:10-11 KJV
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
[11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

his first coming was as the lamb of God to bear sin , his second coming is the lion of Judah who treads the wine press of gods wrath

“so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; ( sacrificial lamb )

and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”( victorious lion of Judah king of glory )
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:28‬ ‭

Judah is a lion's whelp: From the prey, my son, thou art gone up: He stooped down, he couched as a lion, And as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh come; And unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, And his ass's colt unto the choice vine;

He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes: His eyes shall be red with wine, And his teeth white with milk.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭49:9-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭63:1-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19:11-16‬ ‭

What I’m saying is Jesus went up In the clouds after he first came and will return in the clouds at the end when he returns he’s coming also with the wrath of God upon evil after he fathers his people

“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

at here are prophecies according to the ot and his first coming when he was born in the flesh then there are prophecies about his return according to the nt and the end of the world and final judgement

Jesus is from the tribe of Judah because the throne of David was established forever, and David is from the tribe of Judah, and it is Jesus that is sitting on the throne of David as the King, so Jesus is from the tribe of Judah.

yes but the spiritual aspect is the throne of David became the eternal throne of this kingdom 😊 David set the throne in motion for the lion to come

If you see the spiritual throne that is and not the one David sits on.

I generally like to ascribe things to God, even though they are accomplished through human agency. So I would say that God established David's throne for the good of Israel. In doing so, He pictured His throne and the nature of His kingdom.

It was David who was sitting on the throne of Christ; not the other way around.
“And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:31-33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The messiah was promised to be the son of David David was made king , God swore he would raise up his son to be eternal king and sit on his throne

“Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬
