The two witnesses prophesy for 1260 days. When the AoD statue image of the beast is setup, the Jews flee to the mountains, as the two witnesses battle the beast providing cover for them

The peron's stages during the 7 years. Note he becomes the beast about 3-4 months before the mid-point. As the beast-king he will be dictator of the EU, with ten EU leaders ruling with him (the ten horns with crowns in Revelation 13:1-2)

Also because the person, a Jew, believed by the Jews initially as their long awaited messiah, turns on them when they reject his claim of having achieved God-hood, and reject him as continuing as their King of Israel. End of his stage of being the Antichrist.
His soul kicked out hell in Isaiah 14:18-20.

19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Sitting up in his casket back alive, the unsaved world will be dumbfounded. To them, it will seem to validate his claim of having achieved God- hood. But in actuality it will be the strong delusion that God sends to them who initially believe his claim of having achieved God-hood (the big lie) and also have pleasure in unrighteousness. 2Thessalonians2:9-12.

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Before the person becomes the beast, the rapture/resurrection event will have taken place. The timing between right this very second and when the Antichrist commits the transgression of desolation act of 2Thessalonains2:4. I call that timing view "the anytime" rapture view. I take the word "anytime" for Luke 21:34-36.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Once the great tribulation starts with the setting up of the AoD, abomination of desolation, statue image of the beast-king, in Revelation 8, the seventh seal is removed and trumpet judgments of God begin.

There are four angels sounding their trumpets to announce the first four judgments. Then there are three angels remaining to sound, which those announce 3 Woe to the inhabiters of the earth.

While we don't know exactly on the timeline when the Antichrist stops the daily sacrifice and commits the Transgression of desolation act, we can make an approximation - to take into account of war breaking out and him being assassinated - of around 60 days.
We can know for sure that after he becomes the beast and the image made of him, tha the AoD is setup on day 1185, 1335 days before Jesus's return.

In Daniel 11:40-45, some battles take place, as the beast-king is attacked. It does not say why, but my thinking is because he will be directing all the middle east oil to the EU. Leaving the other parts of the world no choice but to attack him.
Since those battles are near the very end of the 7 years, they will be a prelude to Armageddon, drawing all of the armies of the world into the middle east.

Battling against the beast - the action will suddenly be halted when the sixth seal event takes place and the world sees Jesus in heaven, sword in hand.
