The Ten Commandments have been with God from Creation and will be with us on the New Earth "... and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship me, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 66:23) Moses did not write the ten Commandments; they were given to him by God. The Ten Commandments are not part of the Law of Moses or any part of the old Mosaic Law. "Do not think that I come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (Matt 5:17) The Sabbath is mentioned 60 times in the NT alone and all have to do with the 7th day Sabbath but on which refences an annual Sabbath. God made the Sabbath for all mankind (Mark 2:27). Jesus kept it (Luke 4:16), Paul kept it (Acts 17:2), and Gentiles kept it (Acts 13:42-44; 16:13) Several of the Ten Commandments are mentioned throughout the New Testament. God only set one day apart from the rest and blessed it, sanctified it and blessed it and that would be the 7th day of the week not the first.

The observance of the 7th day Sabbath was specifically given to Israel. After the New Covenant was established by Christ, the Sabbath days were deemed to be "shadows" of the reality of Christ, who is Lord of the Sabbath, and who said that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Col 2:16,17)

Oh yay... yet another misguided Sabbatarian spreading the false gospel of law-adherence.

The Ten Commandments have been with God from Creation and will be with us on the New Earth "
Really? Where is that in Scripture? Oh... it isn't.

The ten commandments were not given until the Israelites were at Sinai, about 2700 years after creation. Nowhere in Scripture is it suggested that they were "with God" prior to that.

The Ten Commandments are not part of the Law of Moses or any part of the old Mosaic Law.
Wrong. The ten commandments are part of the Sinai covenant.

The text does not tell us that the Gentiles "kept" the Sabbath; indeed, doing so would require them to make blood sacrifices, which they are forbidden from doing. The text merely tells us that they were in certain places on the Sabbath. Don't make unwarranted assumptions.

The Ten Commandments and the Sabbath was not, is not just for the Jews. Do you have any idea how many references there are to the Ten Commandments, the Laws and the Sabbath just in the NT. you are misinterpreting (Col 2:16-17) He is talking to the Jews and believers telling them not to let unbelievers judge them for keeping the Commandments, his Laws. The blood sacrifice is the old mosaic Law, Moses Law. Jesus was / is our sacrificial lamb. That did not abolish the Ten Commandments. They are gods law not in any part of The old mosaic or Moses Law. Q: If the Ten Commandments are done away with why are the commanded in the NT over and over and why did God say all flesh will come to worship him from one Sabbath to another on the newly created earth?

Wrong. God made the Sinai covenant with Israel, colloquially (though incorrectly) referred to as "the Jews".

Wrong. They are part of the Sinai covenant, which is the "first" covenant referred to in Hebrews 8:13.

"So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath..." (Acts 13:42)
"1.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God." (John 1:1-2) The Ten Commandments were with us at Creation, "Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and MY laws." (Genesis 26:5) God established the 4th Commandment on the 7th day of creation. "Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy,..." (Exodus 20:2-17 & Deut 5:6-21) and there are more.
Jesus is our sacrificial lamb, and that's why we're not under the old mosaic laws, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfil. (Matt 5:17) We are under Gods Commandments and Laws.

Gog speed? lol... nice one.

Try Hebrews 8:13 on for size, and if that doesn't fit, try Galatians 3:10.

The Ten Commandments and the Sabbath was not, is not just for the Jews.[/QUOTE]The Ten Commandments are indeed for everyone, but the Sabbath commandment has not been ignored. The requirements of Sabbath observance have been transferred to the first day of the week (the Christian Sabbath). The Sabbath -- as observed by Christ -- was not only for rest but also for (1) worship (hence attendance at the synagogues) and good works (hence healings on Sabbath days). It is not the precise day pf the week, but the purpose of the Sabbath as far as God is concerned. Which is why Christ said that He is Lord of the Sabbath. He is the one who gets to decide.

You stated," The requirements of Sabbath observance have been transferred to the first day of the week (the Christian Sabbath)." Show me this in the Bible, there has never been a transference of The True Sabbath to Sunday except by the Roman Catholic Church. and even they say that is not by any Scripture but by their own authority. From Creation God said he set one specific day apart from the rest and blessed it sanctified if and hallowed it, that day would be the 7th day of the week not the first. *The Protestant reformation, *Constine and Sun worship, *The Roman Catholic Church, all had to do with the Sunday worship that is observed today, it has nothing to do with Scripture. Organized Sunday worship is not Biblical, it is a counterfeit, a golden calf.

Hebrews is talking about making a new covenant yes because the old covenant (Moses's Laws. the old Mosaic Laws) was done away with Jesus's crucifixion. Nothing to do with abolishing Gods Laws, the Ten Commandments. If you want to abide in the old laws by all means but if you do follow them to the letter. Has nothing to do with the Ten Commandments. Why does everyone try to incorporate the Ten Commandments into the old mosaic law when they are mentioned and observed throughout the NT?
Why does Jesus and God the farther give us so many warnings in the NT "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his Commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him." (1 John 2:4) and there are many, many more.
Love, God speed, Danny

"What things soever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God." (Not just Israel)

"Before faith we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith that afterward be revealed. Wherefor the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. But after faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."
(Before we obtained faith in Jesus, we were kept under the law, but after being born again, we are no longer under the curse of the law as the Spirit now puts the Lord's commandments directly into our hearts and minds.)

"For this reason, Jesus is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance."
(Almost every sin of those who are under the new testament does not include the curse of death as they do under first testament, because the law of the Spirit of life is meant to impart life rather than death)

Abel's sacrifices pleased God, which were offered thousands of years before the law was revealed to Israel.

Now that we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and are made into eternal living temples of God, something better than the sabbath is here in us and for us, every day is now holier than the sabbath and is a good day to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth and is a good day to do good!

The Sabbath is mentioned 58 times in the NT.
The Disciples kept the Sabbath 85 times just in the book of Acts alone.
God says that if we love him, we will keep his Commandments. (John 14:15)
(1 John 5:3) says that keeping his Commandments shouldn't be burdensome.
The NT gives many warnings about not keeping Gods Commandments.
(1 John 2:3-4) "he that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
(1 John 2:7) "Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning..."
(James 2:10) " For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
(Acts 5:29) "We must obey God rather than men."
(1 John 3:23-24) "...Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him..."
(Romans 7:12) "Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good."
(Matt 15:9) "And in vain the worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."
The list just goes on and on. If the Commandments are part of the old law then why are we commanded to observe and obey then everywhere in the NT?
Love, God speed, Danny

He is talking to the Jews and the believers, telling them not to let anyone, non-believers judge them in these things. To hold fast to their beliefs and in keeping the Sabbath holy.
