listen, you won't be here long if you're going to be adversarial, so allow me to give you some Good News:
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Cor 15:3-4)
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God. God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:20-21)

No, the fossil record does not speak for itself. It is interpreted by those who have rejected God and taken Darwinism to ridiculousness.
A few months ago, they uncovered the footprints of dinosaurs, claiming they were 65 million years old in a riverbed. It was apparent the tracks were those of an enormous animal.
Now, do they mean to say that in a riverbed where there have been hundreds of floods and hundreds of dry spells, and then more floods and dry spells, these footprints would not have been washed away after 65 million years? If you believe that, I'll sell you Manhattan for 10.00 bucks. These same people claim that the Grand Canyon, which is hundreds of feet deep, was created by rushing water, yet over the same time frame, footprints made in mud that are 3 or 4 inches deep survived flood after flood for 65 million years, Bull!
I understand where you're coming from, but you will believe the creation account or the account of men who have been defying God since the beginning. I think it's a dangerous thing to call God a liar.
