“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭

gentiles are any nation not Israel

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

as long as the gospel is preached anyone who believes can enter into the kingdom
has it been preached to all nations yet though.
I kind of think we may be nearing the end what with globalisation and everyone can go to every continent via jet planes and ships and satellite and internet etc. And because humans are now even going to Mars (though there's no nation that we know of to preach to there) and even thinking of setting up camp on other planets! So I'm just kind of wondering about the whole end of the world thing.

Also what with global warming, plagues and pollution, wars and earthquakes... things aren't looking that great here on earth.

The United Nations (UN) doesn't really preach the gospel.
The European Union (EU) was more an economic thing.
The United States (US) wasn't really founded on gospel as so many other religions and cults sprang up, anyone can worship anyway they like.
The United Kingdom (UK) sort of tried but what happened with the British Empire seems like all colonies wanted independence and nobody really wants a monarchy.

If ever there was to be a global witness, it would have to work kind of like a heart virus or something, infecting people with love, and then people will WANT to be baptised. Cos I don't really see a lot of baptisms happening worldwide.

all nations includes everyone from the beginning until the end of the world people are born daily new people to hear the gospel it won’t be done until the end

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when you heard the gospel it’s just this still happening another way to say tomoresch the gospel to all nations is this

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

until Jesus returns it will be preached

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-18‬ ‭

people who hear today and believe is part of that being fulfilled the gospel was never going to cease it was going to outlast this creation

“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we Christian’s are in this place anticipating our faith

“knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:3-4, 7-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus hasn’t returned yet until he does the gospel will be preached on earth many won’t hear it but it will be preached

It’s been preached all over the world and still is today millions per week are born on earth fresh minds and hearts fresh ears and eyes

When will the fullness of the gentiles come in? Romans 11:25
I am just wondering are there any signs of that.
As inquisitor quoted Lu 21: 24, Jerusalem will be trodden down of the gentiles until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled.
In vs 32 we're told that this generation shall not pass away until all is fulfilled.
We're also told that we'll live for three score and ten years or by reason of strength four score years.
Jerusalem returned to Israel in 1968 and 80 years puts Jesus' return by 2037 which would have the trib starting at 2030 ish. I say "ish" as we're also told that "except those days be shortened, there shall no flesh survive." This verse all by itself keeps all end time calculations from knowing the day or the hour of Jesus' return.
BTW. The burning mountain that kills one third of the earth's people will not land in Russia as they'll be taken out after they attack Israel. It will not strike Africa as they too will attack Israel. And China and Europe will meet at the battle of Armageddon. So that just leaves N and S America for ground zero.

oh ok...'this generation' meaning the ones born in Israel after 1968? Or just all remaining Jews. He's coming back to Jerusalem right, nowhere else?

what happens to the Pacific Islands and Australia or do they not count.
I dont know if you can gather all Jews all back in Israel since many still live in the US. But certainly many have returned or made aliyah. I dont know if there is some kind of cut off date for that though when they wont accept any new migrants. They certainly dont want any palestinians outnumbering Jewish majority. but the mosque is still there on the temple mount, so I suppose it could be said to be 'trodden down'? Does gentiles include muslims or are they in a completely separate category, since there were none when the NT was written.

For the Jewish people, it'll be a remnant who'll be saved. Those who flee into the mountains as advised by the scriptures. See Mk 13: 14 and L 21: 21...
Those who survive the 7 years of the trib will have until Jesus returns to repent or while they are yet standing, their flesh will be consumed from their bones, their eyes in their holes and their tongues in their mouths. Thus; only the faithful survivors will live to see Jesus rule for 1000 years from Jerusalem on king David's throne. The church will of course return with Jesus as immortal king/priests who will assist king of kings Jesus in this kingdom unto the end of the world. See Rev 5: 10.

who is ruling Jerusalem now and do the Jews still recognise a royal lineage? Its not all heredity is it but has to be someone Jewish. Are they still hoping for a messiah.

Why 1968 though, wasnt Israel created as a new state in 1948?

People have been on about this for years and years. How will we assist Jesus in his new Kingdom will we be doing the work we already do, or something else? Because this is all projected into the future its sometimes hard to believe that its all going to happen maybe in our lifetimes. But many people leave before that. I wonder if its better to go early than survive to witness the destruction. Helping Jesus build a new kingdom though, sounds like a good thing but I imagine it wont be that easy. Lord knows all the opposition and persecution believers have to put up with right now.
